We were given free bread rolls when we sat down, but they were neither fresh nor good. Individually wrapped in a sandwich... baggie. The knife couldn't even cut through the bread... We had a standard burger w/fries and the jumbo ravioli with thespecial chicken lemon soup. The burger was pretty bland and dry; the fries were fresh but had no salt. No salt shaker wasavailable. Jumbo Ravioli was a good portion size and pretty good -- nothing special. Just a basic marinara sauce. Also ourwaters were never topped off despite being empty for a while. This place is an odd vibe. The inside feels like a steak restaurant, but it's homemade dinners are more-than-reasonably priced.... For date night, we got a 5-star environment, our waiter Irdi was phenomenal, and the food was equally so! My only complaint istheir menus were falling apart. I would recommend this place to my friends. Also- Polish cusine is authentic and delicious. Theonly better Stuffed Peppers are my sisters, and their pierogi were better than ours (&that's saying something!). I look forwardto returning to this wonderful place. Read more
It was my first time here, and it will not be my last. Marcus Grill has a good balance of amazing food, exceptional service, and... a happy customer (me!). My order: Chicken Kabob The chicken kabob was hands down one of the best kabobs I have had. Forstarters, both skewers were loaded with a good balance of chicken to veggies (onions and red/green peppers). The chicken wasperfectly grilled, juicy, and full of mouth-watering flavor. The veggies all had a nice little crisp to them. The chicken kabobwas not my original choice, but it was the right choice. First I was eyeing the burgers. Then my focus pivoted after I turnedthe page and saw the kabob. It comes serviced with rice, sauce and grilled pita, but I did not want any of that. I would haverather just ordered another skewer in place of that. But some restaurants in the past have told me "I have to" get the sides.Why? I would rather have two entrées with no sides than one entrée with sides. That is just terrible service when I encounterthat. But Marcus Grill did not tell me "I have to". The waitress went above and beyond and it really made for a greatexperience. Exceptional service at a restaurant is important, and Marcus Grill exemplifies it. The Polish food here is amazing. The sauerkraut and sausage was top notch. My friends ordered a couple seasonal cocktails and... reported they were great as well. Both food and service were wonderful and we were there on a busy Saturday evening. Read more
