This is the best Japanese restaurant I've ever been to in the US. It's not fancy, but it's authentic. Cozy with friendly... employees. I ate here several times during my three-week stay in Michigan, at times going out of my way to eat here. I've livedin Japan for three years, this is how their food tastes. Absolutely amazing! Fresh fish, fresh ingredients, Superior sauces, awesome customer service, excellent portions. Pricing is cheap when compared to... other poke bowl places. I have been back 3 times in two weeks. I had this place several months ago but forgot to make a review. I went just for the seafood boil and was pleased. I mainly... wanted crab so I did Build Your Own with garlic butter. I think the price was reasonable, the sauce was good and everythingtasted fresh. There was a bit of a wait, but I felt it was only long enough for them to make/heat my meal at the time of myorder. The food did not taste like it had just been sitting all day. My only complaint is the menu doesn't indicate the potatoesare red skin. I would've ordered more because they are small. Read more
