Waitress took care of tables seated after us... first. She never smiled, had to ask for the complimentary chips and salsa 3... times before getting it and then she dropped it off without any words or even eye contact. They had plenty of staff, so not acase of being overworked. Read more
Taco Loco is one of those restaurants you pass by that stand out with its traditional Mexican design. I decided to pop by one... day to try it out. The interior is definitely a little cramped, but it gives off a warm and cozy feeling. Their nachos have agood taste, not too salty and not too bare. However, I felt like the salsa that came with them was either too strong or toomild, I would like to see an amount of spice in the middle of the two, but they weren't bad by any means. I ordered the puffytacos which I thoroughly enjoyed. The ingredients were in good amounts to each other and the rice accompanying it had a subtle,but nice spice to them. I feel compelled to leave a review here since we are headed out to Loco for dinner in just a few. We are consistent customers.... (Or were, before we moved over a half hour away) but we try to frequent when we can! Their prices have went up, yes. So haveyour groceries. So has your fuel. Remember that these places are now paying WAY more for labor because that?s what everyonewanted in order to work! Our new local taco place is the exact same price for my meal, it?s not quite as good, there is NObaskets of chips and salsa. Everyone loves sagebrush.. same thing with prices. Taco loco is very fair priced considering any oftheir competition. (Taco Bell is not loco competition) Their salsa is fresh, made daily, and delicious. Same with their chips.I?ll gladly pay for an extra few baskets. Sometimes service can be off. But guess what? Some *most* of this waitstaff is overworked. Do you have someone who needs a job? Maybe suggest working and helping out the over worked staff! People are real quickto complain without understanding the dynamics of our world have been upside down for three years now. Is it cheap? Nope. Isthe food quality? Yes. Is the staff friendly? Yes. Are you supporting a small business and their families? Also yes. Oh, but mymain reason for this was.. their margaritas are da best! EDIT: Upon review, we've decided to raise our rating to 4?. The restaurant isn't fancy or a chain, but it does have an authentic... Mexican cantina feel. The service is friendly and the food is very good. Also, the Google star system lists 3 stars as "justokay", we didn't feel that was accurate. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ FIRST REVIEW: The food was very good and everyonewas friendly. We would have preferred more attentive service, they were busy when we dined, but we were only checked in on whenfood arrived and when we requested our check. The menu is priced a little higher than we would have liked, though portions weresatisfying. Overall we enjoyed the meal and plan to return. Read more
This seems to be the meeting place of choice for my co- workers. Been here a couple of times. Recommend the margarita ???? and... puffy tacos. I like to order something different on the menu every time i go there. And each one was very good and big servingsize that i usually need a to go box. Read more
It?s perfectly good at what it is. Taco Loco is a small local place with cheap margaritas and flavorful basic Mexican food. I... don?t understand any of the low reviews complaining about food or service, you don?t go here expecting a Michelin Star ratedplate. The place is clean, the food is consistently good, and the speed is fine. If you want a fancy dining experience withwhite table cloths and caviar, maybe don?t go to the place known for $3 margaritas in the first place. But if you?re in the moodto smash some great basic Mexican food served in generous portions, then this place is perfect. Read more
What a rip off, was charged $10 for 1/2 cup of guacamole.Yes I measured! It came in a shell with home made chips. I went back to... ask why it wasn't $8 like the website said & why couldn't I get it in a tub like before? They charged for a fancy shell I didn'twant or eat.The answer was,everythings going up.Sadly their guacamole isn't that good,so disappointed,I won't be back! Read more
