VERY good pizza. Our go to place. However, the delivery service they use, chow now, has failed to deliver simple things on a few... occasions.. sides of ranch.. a 2 liter.. etc. Eventually, I called the pizzeria to let them know and Mike went above and beyondto make things right. We received a refund for the missing items and a credit on our next chow now order. He even called 2 dayslater to make sure we were taken care of and let us know that he hadn't forgotten about the mistake. Very much appreciated. Willbe back. Thanks Mike! Read more
I was looking for a new pizza place as I'm tired of jets and Vince& Joe's. I saw great reviews so I figured I'd try. I ordered... roughly$100 worth of food. A calzone, which was excellent, cheese bread, wings, and two large pizzas. Wings were average, cheesebread was less than average, and the pizza was some of the worst I've ever had, absolutely terrible. The pizza was so sweet,I've never tasted anything like it before. I've been on the hunt for a new go-to pizza place for a while, and I think I may have finally found it. I ordered a simple... large hand-tossed with pepperoni, green olives, and extra sauce. Finally, a place that actually knows what extra sauce means.Everything looked, smelled, and tasted amazing. Their sauce is very unique to any other pizzeria I've tried. It kinda reminds meof the pasta sauce at an Italian restaurant called Larco's that I used to love before they closed. I know I don't review often, but this has been my family's number one place to go for pizza. First because it was on the way... home from work, now that I work remote it is worth the 20 minute drive to come get it. This is hands down the best pizza in Shelby Township. I used to go to Hungry Howies but never again!!! The staff here is... incredible. Pretty sure this guy named Russell runs the place! Butter Garlic Parmesan Wings are to die for. I broke my seafood only rule ????. I literally couldn't even drive off after I got... in my car. Because I was sitting there like a fat kid eating half the order before even getting home ???? I'm talking fingerlicking and everything ??????????? I didn't even care who was looking ????. The pizza dough has this sweet taste to it, lovingthat! And the butter parm over the pizza is always a MUST. Why goggle doesn't have a 5 star option I don't know, but they needto add that ???????? Tonight was my first time ever ordering from What up Dough. And I have to say I have never had such amazing customer service in... my life. The people here are wonderful. I ordered through a 3rd party and no one came to pick up the delivery, so they senttheir own person as well as calling me to let me know what happened with my order.
