A must stop at for bar food if you're in Utica. I come here almost every time I'm in Utica for work. Good selection of beer but... you can't go wrong with a Guinness at an Irish pub. Last time I stopped in I just got some apps and was very pleased asusual. The mozzarella sticks are are good and always come out just right. The Buffalo chicken dip is great and is uniquelyserved with crispy potato chips. The flavor and texture are fantastic for the dip and it seems like they broil the crust on top,yummy for sure. The crown jewel for the apps is the Ruben spring rolls. These little guys are amazing. If you like Rubensandwhichs, you have to try these. First time in Utica the other day and the internet brought us here to eat. Already amazing reviews that held up when we ate... there. You could throw a dart at the menu and whatever it landed on would be good. Homemade food that was delicious. Drinks weregreat too. If I travel there again I would make the time to go there again. The outside exterior is deceiving to the rather welcoming interior. Randomly chose Swifty?s based on how quickly and how well... rated a place to eat was. Thanks, Google for that. The mozzarella sticks were perfectly hot, resulting in that so desiredcheesey pull apart sight. Served with a delicious marinara side. Ordered a roast beef sandwich, which though messy, still good.The menu is truly bar like food, but good for the establishment that it is. Service was quick and friendly. Read more

I ordered the hangover burger with the sweet potato fries. When I got my order the burger tasted completely burnt even though I... asked for medium done, but the waiter noticed and right away sent it back to have it redone. Service & food were great. Always looking for non chain restaurants...had the wild mushroom eggplant wrap, pub melt & chicken... cordon blue wrap. All very tasteful And portions were huge we all had leftovers! Scarlet was prompt for everything too!! Read more
