Got take out and am extremely confused, as when I eat in the food is the best, but for some reason take out, drive thru and... delivery are horrible. Tonight my chicken was dry, my fires were crispier then normal, my bun hard as a rock dressing washorrible and no cranberry sauce. My sauce and pie were great. I should have ate in. Read more
Trying to call to make a reservation. No answers after multiple hours and multiple calls that all ring 20+ times before someone... just hangs up the phone. Great way to run a restaurant guys. Read more
Had a great experience. We had a family dinner at the Swiss Chalet, and the experience was nothing short of perfect. The food... was fresh and delicious, and service was excellent. Arguably the best restaurant in Uxbridge!!! Read more
Sadly our food took 85 minutes to arrive - 20 minutes after the store said the driver was 1 minute away! So we cancelled the... order at the head office (couldn't get through again to the Uxbridge restaurant - no one picked up the phone). Very verydisappointed. If we'd been told it would be a 90 minute wait, we might have ordered much earlier. Btw, we only live 10 minutesfrom the restaurant - not exactly a difficult delivery for them. Won't be trusting the delivery service again... ps on theon-line order tracking site, the driver had clicked off that it was already delivered - 50 minutes before he actually arrived.Is this a scam? But on whose behalf? - the driver? the store? Who knows... we just know we didn't get our food. Update -although Swiss Chalet corporate customer service contacted us immediately following our first review above, there have beencrickets since then - no contact from the restaurant and nothing more from corporate... So much for customer service - I guessthey're doing so well they just don't care. Update #2: So we no longer use the Uxbridge Swiss Chalet having found that the onein Stouffville is excellent! We're more than happy to drive the extra distance - great service, much higher qualityfood...Conclusion: big variation with this chain - hit and miss until you find a good one! Be very clear you are ordering from only the Swiss chalet part. Ordered a chicken dinner and a wrap. They gave us a harvies... wrap. We said Swiss chalet. Oh well, always check your order. Read more
When we have a craving for a rotisserie chicken, there?s no other place like this in Uxbridge. Sometimes, we just love to just... enjoy a simple meal and this place is perfect for it. Last time we tried their ribs and it was delicious. Will always come back. Read more
