Excellent ice cream but I did not have a good experience on my last visit. I ordered what I usually order in the "Gotta Have It"... size. Usually when they prepare a little more than the cup can hold, they give you the extra amount in either the next size upor a tiny cup when you get the larger size. Anyway, this time around, the young lady left half of my mix-ins on the prep tableand when I asked her about my extra ice cream she said I had to pay for it. I was charged for a child's create your own. Ibasically was charged twice for the mix-ins. My order included banana which they only add 1/3 of a banana anyway and she left1/2 of that on the prep table. I should've spoken to a manager because I've never been charged for my extra ice cream. I didn'torder extra. The workers measure the ice cream and sometimes they prepare a little bit more. I should've walked out, notpurchased anything and went to the Fairfield store instead. The Coldstone franchise is my favorite ice creamery and has been for10 years now but the Vacaville store really needs to work on consistency in Customer service and treatment. I've never beencharged extra in any of my visits to any Coldstone store until now. I've never been charged extra in the Vacaville store untilnow. Zero communication. Everytime I come here for a pick up these teenagers that obviously weren?t trained won?t greet or anything... and I?ll stand there for 10 minutes just to test em. This is only with online orders. Never coming here again. Tried giving em ashot . I worked fast food restaurants and all else. A simple ?Hello I?ll be with you in a moment ?. Ain?t that hard. I sensezero management. Or owner care. Not tryna be that difficult customer but cmon. I expect the bare minimum of customer service. Read more
I can usually expect fast and friendly service when I go into a Cold Stone and although I hadn't been to this location in years,... they delivered on the quality. Custom orders are quickly prepared. My son was in a bit of a bad mood before we arrived, whichcould have made for a difficult time, but my son was calm laughing and smiling by the time we left. Sweet cream with almonds is the best! The place was clean and had a bathroom though I didn?t go in.
One of the best ice cream places ever. Consistently friendly and energetic workers no matter what location you go to. I love... that they sing when you give them a tip. The ice cream and add ins (brownies, cookies, etc) are always delicious. The pricing isdecent as well. I visit once a month. Read more
