I went to the Octoberfest for 2 years in a row. This year they had the best German potato salad I've ever had. I grew up in... Germany in Neunkirchen. I also had 2 of the best desserts outside of Germany. The Black Forest and the pastry with the littleblack seeds. Sorry, I only know the German name. My friend loved the coconut one and she also raved about the potato salad. I'min Sacramento but will drive there just for the potato salad. They close early so it's best to go before noon just to make sureyou get what you want. Read more
Always surprisingly good here. Been like this for the past 3 years I?ve been coming here whenever I?m in the area. The breakfast... burritos are always cooked perfectly. The salmon lox and baked goods. They have outdoor seating if you like to bring a dog too.Plenty of parking too. Read more
This place is the bomb point blank. It brings back fond memories of mom bringing back fresh bread from this same exact bakery.... Recently found out that they opened up a cafe as well which has their bread as well as many other options for dining. When youare excited to bring home some bread, you know it's super good! Read more

Great German food, pastry, sandwiches and coffee. Good ambiance inside and out. Busy at lunchtime. Also some German canned foods... for puchase. They are open for business, outdoor eating. Oktoberfest meal of bratwurst and Sauerkraut is available til the endof September. Read more
Had an excellent lunch here! The cafe was busy on a friday during lunch but not crowded, and the workers seemed to know several... customers by name which was nice to see. Most of the customers in front of me purchased whole loaves of bread with their orderand I was temtped to do the same. I ended up getting a vanilla caramel latte that was excellent, and I also tried a chocolatecovered cake with raspberry filling. The cake was very delicious and the filling was pleasant and added a nice light flavor. Thestar for me however was the tuna melt, it was a generously sized sandwich made with fresh baked bread and I was surprised byseveral rather large chunks of apple in the tuna that I was not expecting but it actually added a nice touch. Overall verysatisfied and I definitely plan on coming back. It's located right next to the library which is convenient since there were lotsof free parking spots available. Read more
