This is like the chipotle model. Order your food and they prepare it while you walk towards checkout picking the items you want.... They have an interesting take on their tacos, they melt cheese on the taco shell, but melt it at a high temp so it gets crispy.If you really like cheese this is a great option. So this place is usually my favorite place for my boyfriend and I to eat and I was extremely disappointed this evening. Tonight... was the first time I did an online order delivery instead of dining in and we order the same thing we always do - two orders of3 tacos and a side of rice and beans. We each only got one taco, tortillas were completely soggy, we had to wait 25 minutesafter our estimated 45 minute wait, and the food was cold by the time we got it. I took a photo of our door dash order and thereceipt and hope yo come in and get all our food or a refund. I will still come here because I love the food but maybe not orderit for Togo because this was an extremely disappointing experience. Chipotle clone. Had a California burrito. Not bad just bland. Cold fries, cold guac and Luke warm chicken. Also a bit of a messy... meal. Wife had two tacos. One smoked brisket and one al pastor. The smoked brisket tasted like shredded boiled beef. Way overpriced for what you get. I will say the interior is spotless, food servers were efficient and easy to find. Read more
Came to the Vacaville outlets for some quick shopping and happen to come across this taco bar across the street from the... Carter's. I have to say I'm pretty impressed by the quality of food that was served at the taco bar. They have a variety ofitems on the menu from Mulas, Tacos, burritos with multiple meat options. We ordered 3 mulas with Chicharrón, tinga, alpastor. 2 tacos with al pastor and carnitas 1 horchata 1 jamaica Side of guacamole The way this place makes fresh pressedtortillas and cooks them right in front of you is fantastic. It doesn't even take long either. There soft yet warm. The Mulaswere great. They come with melted cheese and you have the option to add meat which we did. The tacos are decent size buthonestly for four bucks they could be slightly bigger. The aplasto is flavorful, the Carnitas were crispy and the chicharrónwas crispy but not dry . The favorite item of the meal was the Tinga. Our drink were delicious. My horchata was fantastic, itwasn't lacking cinnamon. I'm usually not a fan of jamica but man was it good.
