Great service and amazing food. It makes you feel in German or Austria for a few hours. Everything is served beautifully and... cooked to perfection. Ask for a table in the patio in the summer. Enjoy ;) Read more

Went to Alpenrose during our snowboarding trip. Being originally from Germany my expectations are always high when it comes to... german food and Alpenrose didn't disappoint. Everything was fresh and great tasting. The Schnitzel with the Spätzle were justlike you'd get it in any restaurant in Germany. An added bonus was the little bakery display with german cakes of which wepicked two to go. Overall I'd definitely would come back when we're back in the area. Read more

Good food, good drinks, good service. Loved everything we had here. The apps were pretty great although a little over priced ($6... for just carrots). The short ribs and schnitzel were great. Spätzle was a pretty bland add on though. We also later realizedthey forgot our beef tartar, not sure if we were charged. Definitely worth a visit regardless. Read more

Amazing experience. 10/10. I first had hesitations - wondering if it would be just incredible ambiance and mediocre food. But... honestly, I can say now that food was DELICIOUS (get the beef tartare!! It is a special treat unlike any other you’ve had, trust me), and they put soo much ATTENTION and care of detail in all of their drinks (gorgeous garnishes, flowers in ice cubes, delicious too!). Portions are generous, maybe too much so, that we’ll have to come back next time for dessert. There are lotsof fancy places in Vail, but if you’re looking for that special more “Bavarian” influenced dinner, this is it. No regrets, just JOY. Read more

So much fun!!!! My husband and I did the Gondola Experience and it was PERFECT!!! The hostess gave us a warm welcome when we... arrived. The gondola is cozy and comfortable. It’s heated and there is a music box where you can Bluetooth and play your ownmusic. The way it works is there is a salad ready for you to eat when you arrive, and then you get to cook veggies and/or meateither in a broth or on a grill. It’s similar to Japanese hibachi. There is cheese that you can put in trays under the grillto make raclette and dip homemade bread into. The waitress hit the right balance between being attentive but also letting usrelax and enjoy the gondola. I’m vegetarian and was worried the grilling or broth format would be difficult but Alpenrose wentabove and beyond to makes sure I had options. I love this restaurant and their attention to detail. It’s one of the best inthe Valley! Thank you for a fun night out!!! Read more
