Wow! Food was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect for our romantic evening. Servers were all very friendly and the view was... great. Went during the off season so it was busy but not crowded. I recommend a reservation because this place is worth thewait. Read more

Came here after our reservations elsewhere fell through, so we ate in the bar area because it was busier than normal for a... Tuesday evening. The staff was gracious--especially Lindsey who took excellent care of us. Food was very good, too. After aless than stellar visit to the Chophouse last week, this was such a welcome upgrade. Thanks, Elway's =) Read more

My wife and I were very excited to go to Elway's in Vail last weekend. Since it was located inside the Lodge hotel we are a... little disappointed about the surroundings chipped paint in the elevator, no one even manning the front desk to ask whereElway's was located since it was our first time there, etc. If you have an upscale restaurant it should be an upscale locationwith everything around it upscale however we came for the food and the dining experience, not the surroundings. We started witha wedge salad which was a very big portion for us to split, very fresh ingredients. The ribeye I ordered did not disappoint. Wascooked perfectly in season perfectly and I really enjoyed it. However my wife ordered the filet and told them medium and it cameout raw in the middle. This can happen we understand but you would think since they do steak all the time they would know. Weordered mashed potatoes on the side and that came out warm at best. A bit disappointed that everything was not five star as weexpected for Elway's and for the price we were paying. I would go back and give it another chance, since all restaurants have anoff night, however I cannot give it five stars on this rating. Read more

Ordered the porterhouse for 2 and requested for medium rare, one side was slightly well done which made the beef really tough,... we left a couple of pieces untouched. Service staff saw it and asked for our feedback, he offered us free dessert but we weretoo full from the meal so we declined. He didn’t have to do that so it was a really nice gesture. Overall seasoning on thebeef could be heavier, as well as a better crust. Caesar salad/ bread with garlic butter was delicious. Ambiance was reallynice, perfect for a date night or casual night out with friends. Read more

Off the beaten path in Vail but worth a stop. Excellent service in this well designed steak house with large bar. Family... friendly franchise founded by John Elway #7 in 2004 doesn’t disappoint. Plenty of steak options around town but we stumbled inmid week early season to see what’s good. Kid menu featured budget conscious options with plenty of veggies and noteworthyfries. Menu features a diverse offering of appetizers from Calamari to Lamb lollipop’s. Surf and turf any steal for under $30.Wine list is extensive with large format and diverse half bottle selections. Appreciated the worldly wine lost in particular theofferings from Rioja. Service was very kind and attentive. Great dining option Read more

Great meal to celebrate our Mt Elbert Summit. Tim was a great server, request him. He was attentive and accommodating and we... never felt rushed. The Wedge Salad dressing was amazing, Bone In Ribeye was cooked perfectly, the Spicy Spinach Artichoke diphad just the right amount of Spicy and the burger was tasty. Everything you would expect from a high end steak house. Read more
