Reviews for Evergreen Lodge at Vail in Vail, CO

I would not recommend the Evergreen Lodge for the following reasons: 1) They give you a parking pass, but if you return after... 8pm then all the local regulars from the bar will have filled the parking lot leaving you as the guest to lug your stuff half amile from the free lot down the road. They did offer to remove some of them from the bar, but I don?t find this to be anacceptable solution. I talked to the front desk and they were completely dismissive. 2) The room keys literally never worked. Wemust have received 7-8 of them in less than 48 hours. It isn?t great when you can never get into your room. 3) The beds are hardas a rock. I?ve slept on floors with more cushion. 4) The bar is staffed at a minimum and lets the regulars just run the joint.Falling down drunks, arm wrestling, etc. Since the same guy who checked us in, also delivered our food, the review here makessense. So, if you are local to Vail, please go ahead and stay here as they will definitely take care of you. If you are comingin from out of town, pick somewhere else where they won?t treat you like trash. Friendly staff, spacious parking lot, pet friendly, lower prices than most hotels in Vail, a very good Nepalese and Indian food... restaurant, jacuzzi & heated pool. I got the king room and the room was huge! Nice bathroom as well, I took a hot bath. I willdefinitely return. Read more

I stayed here for one night and I really enjoyed it. I would return. The jacuzzi was super nice and refreshing. The pool was... nice but had quite a few bugs in it for my taste. The hotel room itself was comfy. The bed was a king. I had a great nightsleep. The coffee in the room was good. The bathroom and bathroom supplies were clean and nice. The front desk allowed me tocheck in early. It was a quick check in. They gave me recommendations. The hotel is a quick walk into the heart of Vail. Locatednext to the hospital yet I never heard any ambulances. They had a coffee and a small breakfast in the lobby in the morning. Ididn?t eat any of it but it was offered. Read more

This hotel was great. Close walk to the vail village and bus services. The hotel is clean, has a variety of amenities. Outdoor... pool, indoor hot tub, pool tables, laundry, vending machines, and two restaurants. There is no continental breakfast, althoughthey do have coffee and muffins out. The rooms are spacious and well kept. Highly recommend for anyone traveling to vail. Greatprices too! Read more

Room was nice enough. Staff was available and helpful. You can skip the continental breakfast and not notice. There?s a... Starbucks around the corner in the hospital. I feel it was overpriced given the facilities, but it was probably a ?bargain?given the location. Only chose it because it was next door to the rink where my daughter had a competition. Read more

Great location and reasonably priced... Vail Village and its condos, homes and hotels are so stunning and beautiful and... seemingly perfect and of course the price tag to go with it. Evergreen Lodge has old school charm and humility while providingclean and nice rooms, spacious lobby, awesome pool, well rated restaurants, etc etc. The front desk staff was kind and helpful. We loved our stay at Evergreen Lodge. Read more

Our room was really nice, reading some of the reviews made me super nervous about the room for the ?hard beds? and some chargers... behind furniture, but our room had basically everything that someone would want! It even had a desk, which was super helpfultoo! The worst thing i could complain about would be dead insects in the outdoor pool, it was almost disgusting to swim in therebecause of the amount of dead flies were in there. Other than that, this was basically heaven! Read more

The location of this hotel is amazing, you literally park your car and forget it. It has two restaurants onsite (sports bar and... Asian), a nice pool by the creek, they provide some muffins and coffee for breakfast and it's pet friendly! The hotel is a bitolder and housekeeping skipped our room for no reason. We'd stay again.
