Wow, very few restaurants these days make me say wow. I’ll start by saying this was for our anniversary and we noted that in... the reservation. From the moment we sat at our table we were given service rarely seen anymore even at high level dining. Themanager sat us, congratulated us, then comes the complementary champagne, without asking complementary bread and wagyu candleshow up. Which by the way was one of the most notable things I have tasted in a while, incredible. Our server introduced herself(Chantal I think) she was really excellent! We decided on Cesar salad, the special that night was wagyu ribeye, with sides ofMac and cheese and baked potato. I think that a lot of steak houses are under seasoning their meat lately and relying on saucesto fill the gap. This was not the case at Flame. The steak was seasoned beautifully and let the meat shine, no sauce needed butwe did have some chimichurri that elevated the steak, very nice! Everything we ate was excellent, and my SO will attest thatI’m a hard critic when it comes to food. Thank you Flame we will certainly be back. Read more

Chef Simone is a genius. Had the sea bass special and he completely elevated what sea bass should taste like. Really... masterfully prepared, with layered tastes of pure love. Read more

This is my favorite restaurant in Vail. The steak is really good but the sides and wedge salad are the best in Vail! We also... enjoy the personable wait staff. It is always a family favorite. I highly recommend! Read more

Phenomenal food and service. We really enjoyed the Wagyu fat candle and our steaks. What a wonderfully romantic experience.

Everything was great but we have dined twice and they seem to have staffing issues like everywhere right now. Not a huge deal,... but given the price you are paying you should be aware that its a thing. The staff who were there were friendly and probablyexhausted because they must be really short of people. But, the food is good and we don't mean to quibble...but the bill tho!!! So you want fully staff people so waits are better, not as much time between courses, water is filled, drinks can be re-orderedetc. Read more

Some standout dishes but nothing extraordinary. Not worth the money considering other options in the area. Not up to the... normal Four Seasons standards. Read more

This was our first visit to Vail and our first dinner at Flame. Not much for vegetarian options so our server (who was amazing... btw) checked with the chef and told me that he's got me covered. Out came our dinner and oh my gosh, I was so impressed! Hetotally had me covered! And my husband enjoyed his steak lol The dessert suggestion though by our server....sticky toffeepudding ... was by far the best! The best part...the chef came out and greeted us ?? and we were able to give him our hugethanks! Not many steak houses accommodate to vegetarians so thank you for making our dinner experience the best experience inVail. And to top it off, we were celebrating our anniversary which made this even more special. The breakfast was also a hit,not once did we have a bad experience. Our server Nick was also amazing. The waffles though.... amazing! Read more

Good restaurant nicely appointed with a decent selection of various cuts. We started off at some virgin ginger drinks and they... quite honestly were not the best. However the Australian lamb chops and 8 ounce fillets were not as tender and juicy, but werereasonable OK. We also ordered a side of lobster mac & cheese, brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, salad and of course the onlygood item was the chocolate soufflé. Read more
