Excellent service. Fully stocked bar with a pretty good wine list. The food is excellent. The mushroom ravioli with truffle... sauce stole the show, but the wild boar fettuccine was excellent as well. They make all the pasta in-house. Bustling and a bitnoisy, but not so bad you can't talk. Make reservations early, particularly on weekends. Definitely not a walk-in kind of place, but it's worth the effort. Read more

Absolutely fantastic dinner. All parts of the meal had great flavor and presentation. The buffalo mozzarella in the caprese was... so tasty. For the main dishes we had a veal special and a pasta dish, and we loved both. As for the pasta white sauce, we hadnot had such good sauce since traveling to Italy. The dessert was also tart and refreshing. You will not be disappointed ifyou dine here. Read more

We thought they were too busy for a reservation but walked in anyway thinking a party of 2 might be able to eat at the bar. They... had an open table on the patio and it was perfect. The service was excellent and helped us select just what we needed. The foodwas excellent and it was by far the best meal of our trip. Do yourself a favor and eat there immediately. Thank you! I don't review restaurants much but some are worthy of it. Hands down the best authentic Italian in Vail. La Nonna is my go to... place and I have never had a bad meal here. I enjoy sitting at the bar and the energy around it - the bartenders are great andknow how to make what you want. Great staff that makes you feel like family. The food is spot on in portion size and taste. Iusually get the Veal special thats in my picture, but love the pastas too. The pork chop is also excellent. I have taken many ofmy friends and family here and it never disappoints and when they come back to town its always the first place they want to go.Great wine list too and with solid by the glass options including a Barolo. Can be hard to get a reservation sometimes, but theyalways seem to find a way...highly recommend. Read more

Just upstairs on Meadow Drive in Vail is this amazing gem of a restaurant. We wandered in last minute and sat at the bar and... enjoyed a wonderful dinner along with exceptional service. The food had so many layers of flavor in everything we ordered. Ihighly recommend making a reservation as the Summer in Vail begins. I love this restaurant and will be back soon because there'sso much more I want to order on the menu....and next time save room for dessert Read more

There's nothing more to ask for - great food, great service, great location. The ambiance is fairly causal - jeans and a... flannel work - while the food borders on fine dining. My wife and I shared two smaller antipastis and ordered our own pastas. A perfect amount after a long day of burning calories. The only bummer.... you have to call for reservations. Make sure tocall well in advance. Things book quickly. Read more
