Beautiful place inside. From the Caesar salad we shared, to the entre's to dessert,everything was delish! Pretty extensive wine... list. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves. The service was on point. Highly recommend Sweet Basil if you are in the Vail area.Make a reservation, they get pretty booked. Recently had dinner here for my birthday and it was amazing! The dishes are so unique and delicious and they have an awesome... wine list. I loved every single thing that I tried. Great general experience as usual. Service was spot on. One of the best meals you can have in Vail. For the Spring menu the... Steak Tartare and Kanpachi Crudo appetizers were ok, but the Scampi pasta and the Lamb shank were fantastic. Restaurant ischildren friendly with a separate but delicious children’s menu. Sean... our server was well trained on new menu and made our experience delightful. Some of the highlights were Whipped Feta, Tatami,Ahi Crudo, Deviled Eggs, Octopus and Katsu Ramen. Being such highly rated and requiring a $25/person deposit for reservations we had high expectations for this place. We were... first excited to be seated by the balcony corner, but quickly realized there is a really cold draft that comes through. Theappetizers were great but got really cold after a few minutes.
