Just a great spot for dinner and a cocktail, can’t complain. Everything was good, but the whipped feta and the venison... definitely stole the show. The service was very good and knowledgeable, without being overbearing. Read more

Beautiful place inside. From the Caesar salad we shared, to the entre's to dessert, everything was delish! Pretty extensive wine... list. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves. The service was on point. Highly recommend Sweet Basil if you are in the Vail area.Make a reservation, they get pretty booked. A $25 pp charge is required when making a reservation, but is credited back afteryour show up for your reservation. Read more

I have been coming here for years and I’m never wrong in bringing people here for their first time. Food is top quality, it... tastes good, it looks good and feels good. Service is really always amazing. Cocktails are amazing, music is divine. In thesummer, ask for a table outside by the River. Recommendations: - Wagyu Carpaccio - Carbonada Lasagna - Wagyu steak (above andbeyond) - Halibut - Lemon and Honey, Chocolate Ganache Read more

Great general experience as usual. Service was spot on. One of the best meals you can have in Vail. For the Spring menu the... Steak Tartare and Kanpachi Crudo appetizers were ok, but the Scampi pasta and the Lamb shank were fantastic. Restaurant ischildren friendly with a separate but delicious children’s menu. Highly recommend the children’s menu chicken pot pie aswell. Read more

More of the same from our favorite restaurant in Vail. New menu with very well executed tasty cocktails and creative food. Sean... our server was well trained on new menu and made our experience delightful. Some of the highlights were Whipped Feta, Tatami,Ahi Crudo, Deviled Eggs, Octopus and Katsu Ramen. I could go on but you get the point. If you can get a table don't miss youropportunity. Read more

Being such highly rated and requiring a $25/person deposit for reservations we had high expectations for this place. We were... first excited to be seated by the balcony corner, but quickly realized there is a really cold draft that comes through. Theappetizers were great but got really cold after a few minutes. The entrées were okay, but it didn't have any wow factor to it.Overall for the price we paid we thought we would have thought it was amazing. Read more
