I hate writing bad reviews but considering this is a touristy area, people should know this isn't representative of Colorado... cuisine. I'll start with a couple positives. If you just want a drink or two, this might be a good spot. The French fries, totsand pretzel were good, staple bar snacks. That being said, the prices are pretty unreasonable for them as well. The entrees areflavorless, frozen, dry foods dressed up pretending to be gourmet. I understand why they had to take some things off the menu,it seems they bit off more than they could chew with complex dishes and complicated ingredients. Maybe if they focused on whatthey do well, save the money used on ingredients that aren't working for them and calm the drink prices down they could improve. Read more
This was an amazing experience.???? The staff were really kind, the food was amazing, also there was an amazing view with the... mountains and the gondola. Definitely looking to coming here again in my next visit to Vail. Read more

Wow, this place is the real deal! Stopped in for lunch with my family on a Friday and was super impressed. The restaurant... itself is decorated in a very casual, comfortable, yet classy way. It also has outdoor seating that overlooks the river, butthe real star was the food. My kids had the crispy chicken sandwiches, and they both ate everything on the plate (a rarity!). My wife had the tuna tartare and raved about it the whole time. I had the burger, and oh my goodness, it was easily one of thebest I've ever had. It literally was the perfect lunch! One of the best restaurant in the area. My bf and i went for pre-valentine dinner and it was amazing. We ate the French onion... soup, bao buns, New York Striploin and butter cake for dessert and it was the best food I’ve ever eaten in a while. My firstwine was a bit vinegary and we told our waitress (Erica?) and she quickly gave me another wine with no hassle. She consistentlychecked up on us and she was a doll. We had a wonderful experience at the Fitz this evening. We’d never been before and the dining room is absolutely stunning!... Definitely a hidden gem in Vail. The large stone fireplace paired with the floor to ceiling panoramic windows made our night.Casey walked us through our order and helped my husband learn about the Elk as we had never had it before! And it came out sodelicious! We had such a lovely evening and recommend this establishment for intimate date nights and special events as theambience can’t be beat. Read more
Easily made a dinner reservation for a party of 6 on a Friday night. Service was very nice, attentive, and professional. The... food was really good, especially for a small lounge on the edge of Vail. Portions were also fairly generous. Read more
