Came in for lunch on a Friday just before 1pm when we were in Vail for the weekend to celebrate a family members wedding. The... waiter Araen was very polite and attentive throughout the meal. He filled our waters and did a great job even with a mostlypacked restaurant (a downpour started shortly after we arrived). I ordered a upslope beer and it was very tasty. A refreshingway to start a vacation weekend. My wife asked for no cheese on the Yard bird sandwich and it came as requested. The chickenwas crispy and definitely a good sized piece served along with lettuce. Unfortunately the French dip was not up to par. Themeat was overcooked and the au jus was so so so salty (coming from someone who adores salt and uses it more than I should admit)I asked and paid extra (0.75) for sautéed onions. I didn't really see or taste them so a bit of a downer on an extra chargeitem. My tater tots were delicious as were my wife's French fries. Overall a good meal. Just not the amazing one I have cometo expect from Westside Cafe. Read more
Conveniently located in our hotel lobby, it was an easy decision to eat here for breakfast. We ordered coffee and a mocha to... start. I had chilaquiles, son had chicken fried steak and my niece had yogurt and fruit bowl. Everything was so delicious. Goodsize portions that we could not finish. Breakfast is fantastic. So many options in good comfort food as well as healthy options and more gourmet selections. Lattes are... smooth and hot chocolate warm and inviting. Service is great and food very satisfying. Atmosphere and views are excellent. Willdefinitely be returning. Read more
We always have to brunch at Westside! Delicious food, good service and has that “mountain” ambiance and feel. Avocado toast... was light and yummy with the mozzeralla cheese and balsamic drizzle. We are also addicted to the coffee mugs. I cant explain it,but they have that Colorado vibe…and we have them in every color! Read more
We visited this place base of high ratings. It was 6 of us (3 adults, 2 kid, and 2 teens). We ordered bison nachos as an... appetizer, and it was delicious and enough for everyone. As a main course we had 4 bison burgers and 2 red beets salad. We werethinking about ordering extra truffle fries but the waiter said that we will have more then enough. Burgers were excellent andsalads too. For burgers we order 3 different fries: plain, truffle, sweet potato, and all of them were very good, and enough foreveryone. Si far the best spot for brunch in the whole area. Their menu full fields all requests from Mexican, American , pancakes,... healthy options, etc. It’s definitely a must If you are in the area. Read more
**THE BEST BRUNCH SPOT IN VAIL** WOW! The menu is not only hilarious the food is unreal! So many fantastic options for anyone... for breakfast! The steak & eggs were cooked to perfection! The hollandaise sauce was amazing! Drinks were tasty & not lacking!I ordered the Mai tai mimosa! So good!! The eggs Benedict options were out of this world. My party ordered the bison & chickenwaffle ones. Both were delicious and unique. Mihai was our server & was fantastic. The decor was modern and welcoming. Amazingview & great parking available. Had an excellent breakfast after checking out of our unit. We picked Westside Cafe because of the great reviews on The Cap n’... Crunch French Toast. It was located in the Doubletree Hotel in West Vail. We ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and the Cap nCrunch French toast. The cereal sugar coating made the french toast very hard so I ordered a solo biscuit with dirty gravy.Totally recommend the chicken fried steak & hashbrowns, biscuit & gravy - definitely comfort food. The service was great! Hazelwas very cheerful and a pleasure to chat with. Oh! The manager removed the French toast from our ticket. We will be back! Read more
