Took over 30 mins to receive the 2 beers we ordered and we even got out appetizers beforehand. We had to get up twice to ask the... waiter for water and to bring the drinks. The food was terrible. The burger buns were soggy and the fries stale. Took another30 mins to pay our bills and we had to get up to the counter, because the server was not coming. We then waited for 10 minutesstanding up to pay for our bills and we saw other tables food just sitting at the pass... Explains the soggy and stalefood... Save your time and money, go elsewhere. We waited over 25 minutes to get service. I had to go get the waiter in the end. We got the food before the beers (over 30... minutes). I had to get up again and ask for the beers. Nachos were very average tasting. The deer burger was extremely dry anddrenched in BBQ and mayo sauce. Fries were actually stale and hard to chew. This review is about the restaurant. The worst experience I have had in my entire life. Not even worth the one star. Not from... the town or from Quebec. Went there with a friend, the waiter sat us down at a dirty table that he said he will clean shortly.The table was never cleaned, we were not offered neither the menu nor even a glass of water. The waiter kept sitting otherpeople and ignoring us the entire time. No other staff member even though to check on us. This is was the case for 15 minutes!!We just left obviously. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and is near the river and small rapids. The bison burger (Tonneau Fumant) and the... pulled pork sandwich were excellent. The fries are homemade and are excellent as well. Interesting choice of beers as well. Iwould go back again. Read more

This review is about the restaurant not the hotel. Overall it's a cute looking place with lots of tables and parking spots. We... ordered the tasting platter to try the beer and it didn't disappoint. The server recommended the beers for us and they weregood. We didn't finish only 1 glass of the beer other 5 were great! As for the food... We honestly didn't like it much. We arenot big fans of meats that are not usual cattle, but there weren't a lot of options to get something that is just usual beef.Then the fries we got with the food were way too dry and not crispy. They gave us a loooot of sause with the fries and thathelped a bit. The side salad was 'meh' and was only dressed with olive oil, nothing else. I would also suggest the restaurant tooffer some toothpicks after the food, cause we needed some and there wasn't any easily available. The vibe of the place is nice,authentic, beer related. Lovely looking place, I didn't know it was also an inn/hostel. Really has a hippie feel. The terrasse is surrounded by trees and... near the river. Didn't order food, but it looked good. Friendly service, but didn't really know the beers. The beers weren'tthat good, unfortunately. The pale ale was too watery, the ginger beer tasted too strong of ginger, and also lacked body. This is a comment on the Restaurant. I've tried to eat here 3 times. The first time the kitchen was closed even though the... place still had like 2h left to be opened, however I just thought it was bad luck and left. The second time I waited 30min to beseated, concluded there was just too much people (again bad luck) and left. Today it was the 3rd time, after 20min of waitingto be seated we spent 35min waiting for someone to take our order, they didn't even gave us water and when my husband wentstraight to be bar to ask for a beer they just said "someone will go to your table". When we saw the waitress cleaning tablesinstead of taking our orders -or at least give us some water- we realized it was never bad luck, but bad management instead. Ican understand being short on staff but another thing is to not know how to manage basic customer service: before seating otherpeople down or cleaning tables you should take the order of the people that have been there for 35min, and give them water.
