Dont eat here , it's a rip off... Ok so I understand every one has it hard and is looking for ways to stay afloat, but that... doesn't mean you skimp on everything, my bill was 40 bucks and I got 12 dollars worth of food. The vegi plate was mostly onionsand rice, with like 8 slices of carrot. That was both plates. He made me a half a sushi roll instead of a full one. When I askedthe cook about it he said the only difference how thin he sliced the roll.... there was hardly any eel in the roll also. Misosoup with out tofu or sea weed... in short don't eat here, it's a rip off. Read more

Gave it one star because I couldn?t choose zero stars. Food tasted terrible. Definitely not authentic Japanese food. Rice was... greasy, the teriyaki chicken had a strange taste and texture and the sauce had the consistency of a bottle that sat out toolong. Would not recommend. Hopefully we do not get sick from it. I?ll make the drive all the way to Hudson for good Japanesenext time. Read more

This place is ALWAYS AMAZING!!! For some reason they're never busy though. We've been inside to eat several times plus gotten... take out and quality is the same every time. We just went with a larger group and there was a little wait because they only have1 cook but everyone agreed it was well worth it. Everyone's food came out about the same time and we all loved it! My husband'sfavorite is the sushi, they make it fresh to order! Read more

Not what I expected, it?s mediocre at best. Edited for update; We decided to give this place another shot considering the last... time we ate here it was the midst of Covid and everyone was struggling, so why not try again? well, I?m still notimpressed. There is nothing wrong with the service here, it?s the food. We ordered a combination plate of steak and scallops, the steak was OK it was a very small portion along with tiny bits of mushroom and broccoli but the scallops were cooked fromfrozen. The texture was rubber and you can taste the freezer burn. I figured they would be up to par with their seafood prepsince they make sushi rolls but I was definitely wrong. Could?ve used more veggies for a large dinner meal. The sushi rolls wegot were a tokyo roll and dynamite roll, the tuna was a very thin slice masked with siracha and Mayo. For $10 a roll you?d thinka decent piece of protein would come with it but it was as thin as the soba noodle we had. Basically paid for rice and spicyMayo on that one. The deep fried roll was OK but the fryer was definitely running too hot, the tempura only tasted of old oilwith a burnt finish. It was disappointing. The chicken teriyaki dish was a small order which is understandable you won?t begetting a full portion but it was little bits of chicken and tiny bits of broccoli with 2 cups of white rice and a full handfulof carrots. The veggie soba noodles were bland, if you?re sodium conscious that would be a good plate to have. I?d prefer moreflavor. All in all we gave it another shot and it didn?t work out so we will not be returning. Read more
