This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in town. If you are craving good old fashioned southern cooking then you are... at the right place. Their chicken, mashed potatoes, rolls, and butter beans are delicious. Don't sleep on the squash casserole.It is their best side in my opinion. It's the definition of comfort food. My first time visiting, inside and outside was immaculately clean, the greeter was very friendly, our waitress was so helpful... and pleasant she went above and beyond answering questions for my significant other who can be inquisitive sometimes. What a quaint nice eatery. Covington?s has an amazing decor that makes the smallish space feel large. I was greeted and served... by a friendly staff that enjoyed being there. The food was great. The fried mushrooms could?ve used a bit more seasoning and theclub sandwich was in need of more mayo. All in all a great place that I will try again.
