They don't have the capacity to keep up with demand and so it's just a horrible customer service experience combined with bad... food. Avoid this location at all costs. You'll lose money trying to eat here by how long they take with your order. Better to goto Chick-fil-A next door. Read more

Horrible 1st experience at this location. Management walks around clueless while service team struggles to keep up with orders... during busiest time of day. Several customers leave without food due to inaccuracies and just tired of waiting. Staff walks offand leaves orders on "bar" while inside of restaurant is packed with people. Drink area is disgustingly dirty with spilled sodaand trash not to mention limited variety of beverages. Read more

Just stopped in for lunch on the way home. Looked at other local restaurant choices but decided to go with a reliable fall back... meal instead, but was soon greatly disappointed. As we stepped in there was no one in line and our order was taken quickly. Thegentleman at the counter was pleasant and did a good job in taking our order. But he did inform. Me that they did. It have anysoda in either machine (lobby nor drive thru), so he offered sweet or unsweetened tea, I asked for water cups to which heexplained that was not an option either. Just tea. So that was a hard pass but it wasn't his doing. So no need to be upset withhim. I had also requested ordering a few buns (to make sandwiches with the 20 piece strips we ordered for our family to share.) But the guy at the counter asked how to ring it up and said he could only rung up toast. Zaxby's Corporate -please add acharge for a bun! Why can't all Zaxby's sell buns???? Our order came out pretty promptly but we had ordered extra seasoning onall the fries and it seemed as though they lacked all seasoning entirely. That was solved with another trip to the counter,but had we taken the order to go as we had considered it would have been extra bland. The fries were less than hot/crisp. Andthe strips were inconsistent both in size and breading. Several seemed extra crispy while others looked more grilled thanbreaded and fried. The location, both dining area and restroom was clean. They gave us about 20 napkins which was more thansufficient and they were generous with sauces. Another noticable difference in this location versus ours at home seemed lesscommunity supportive as the walls at ours are sprinkled with support of local schools and their sports teams. This one's decoris mostly about Zaxby's itself. My daughter said she saw a Georgia Tech something or other but I did not notice it while I wasthere. The drive through line when we arrived at roughly 2:40pm on 9/4/22 was long so I decided to use the app to place my order. I... entered the line at 2:42 and placed my app order. It told me I had to go inside to the 'to go' shelf to retrieve my order - thatit would be ready at 2:58pm. I parked and sent my son inside at 2:54 a few minutes early so he could get the order as soon as itwas shelved. At 3:05 I walked in to check on him and found a haphazard line of people waiting anxiously around the counter. Theshelves that would hold door dash, uber eats, to go orders, were empty. The young man behind the counter never asked who hecould help or addressed anyone that didn't try to speak to him first. There was one person, the young man, at the counter and hehad no customer service skills whatsoever. A door dash employee came in and waited forever to be acknowledged (keep in mind Ihad NEVER been acknowledged yet and this was 3:12pm). The door dash order wasn't ready, and in the meantime two customers whowanted to place dine in orders came in and were utterly confused as to where to go to place an order. All the people waiting forfood and acknowledgement were blocking the cash register area where order should be placed. At 3:23 I loudly excused myself tothe young man and asked if he had an order for (my first and last name). He handed me the bag. I asked for a cup. When my sonand I checked the order, they had tossed the traditional wings. I specifically asked for plain. This was a $13+ meal that wascold, late, and prepared improperly. I exited and was livid but not about to wait to SEE if they'd try to correct the order.There was no redeeming quality about the restaurant at all. We usually love Zaxby's but the St. Augustine location in Valdosta, GA has been the worst restaurant experience I've ever had.... There is zero customer service. It would not break my heart for that restaurant to shut its doors and the ungrateful and uselessemployees have to find a more suitable job that is not customer service oriented. They clearly do not care about theircustomers' concerns and are just generally rude people. The manager is a terrible example of someone that is in a leadershiprole. She does not set a positive image for others to follow. The drive thru is ridiculously slow and poorly managed. Read more
