Everything was awesome here! The food, the beer selection, the customer service, and even the atmosphere were all fantastic.... Making Mexican food in socal is very competitive, and the Alamo can definitely hold it own in this market, not only do theyserve delicious authentic Mexican food they also have a few homemade creations of their own. Our first time here seeing the patio not packed with people. This is a local favorite and we saw our chance to get in before the... dinner rush. If I didn't have to be somewhere later in the evening I would still be enjoying the good food and more drinks.Looks like every table complimented their food with the famous margarita pitcher or beer. I wish the beer was colder but mayhave been due to all the fixings that go into a Michelada that made it a little warmer then I'm used to. This looks like a momand pop place and customers and owners all called everyone by name. Felt like I was eating at their family table. Will be backwhen I can spare a few hours to truly enjoy. They charged me $3 more for an item than what it said on their menu. When I asked them about it they said there was an... additional charge that isn?t included on the menu. I said ?maybe change your menu so people know the cost of what they areordering? SMH Read more
