To be completely honest? Overpriced Mexican food with a nice ambiance that caters to tasteless Santa Clarita locals. Sorry,... not sorry. I had the sabor (chicken) enchiladas plate, which comes with a microscopic portion of rice and beans. Theenchiladas themselves were just OK — not gross or anything, but definitely nothing spectacular. Also, they don’t have anysalsa anything remotely close to “spicy.” I asked for the spiciest salsa they have, and the liquid provided had pretty muchno spice whatsoever. I eventually had to ask for a habanero pepper or at least a serrano to satisfy me…my server (who wasnice enough) could not find a habanero but was able to produce a serrano, which helped a bit with the lack of spice. The onesaving grace is that the margaritas are HUGE — I was feeling happy after just one but ordered a second because the foodwasn’t that great. Oh, and to top it all off, you have to pay $3 for chips and salsa. Go to La Cocina for better (andcheaper!) Mexican food — and complimentary chips and salsa as well as *actually* spicy “spicy” salsa (upon request) — inthe Santa Clarita Valley. Read more

A friend of ours highly recommended this place. Being that we have a vacation home in Baja, and love gourmet Mexican food I... figured we'd give it a try. It was crowded and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The staff was attentive andfriendly. We ordered the chips and salsa which you are charged for. They are generous with refills however. That being said Ifelt the chips were subpar and the salsa was ok. I would skip them if I went back. Next we ordered the house Margarita whichwas huge but odd. There wasn't enough ice to make it cold. The salt on the rim was barely there and the whole thing tasted likea cheap jug mix, not fresh at all. I gave mine to my husband. For dinner I ordered the carnitas which were wonderfullyprepared, tender and flavorful. They fall apart on your fork. My husband ordered chicken tacos which were standard fare, nothingspecial. The bill was a whopping $100 for two. I feel that pretty much says it all. I can get lobster, or a gourmet five coursefarm to table meal with wine for that in Baja. Read more

Came w/ my fiancé, it was a wonderful experience because of the customer service and great food. You have options to sit inside... or outside. This spot can get busy, we waited ~20/25 mins for a table, so plan accordingly. Suitable for all parties; family, business, or dates. We had ceviche, street tacos, and Nutella churros w/ ice cream. The shrimp street tacos are the best! Read more
