They have awesome food. Everything I've tried has been good. Great service, too. If the restaurant is crowded, you have to wait... awhile for a table, but then the service is quick. This is different from anywhere else I've been. So much more convenient thanwaiting for a table and then again waiting a long time for food. Besides, if you're bored, then you can hang out at the baruntil a table is ready. Read more
I don?t know what our waitresses issue was but this will be the last time we come. She immediately had an attitude with me and... my whole family. She bickered with us and everything we ordered and was extremely inattentive to us. There was 6 of us so Iunderstand the intimidation, but to me this sounds like a chance for a bigger tip. After dinner was over and I was paying withcard I entered it as no tip on the machine because I left cash (so it doesn?t get taxed, trying to be nice). She saw me enter notip and proceeded to throw the black receipt booklet thing on the table on front of my brother. He had to open the booklet andshow her the cash tip was in there. After seeing that she said ?oh there it is!? We we?re a very easy table to take care ofregardless of the number of people we had. The food was good but she is a huge problem. We stopped at Peppermill based on the reviews. We stopped on Friday, 7/1/22, and it was busy, but our service was awesome. Our... waitress was great, and our food came out so fast for how busy it was. I got the steak tips and my boyfriend got the BerkshireAngus. Both amazing! I also got the side salad with homemade ranch. So yummy, and I don't see how some said the plates were toosmall based of previous reviews. Honestly, it was all so good that we had to come back the next evening and sit in the lounge.We stuck with sandwiches, equally as good. The portions were huge and just what we needed after a long day of golf and fishing.Definitely recommend if in the area! Read more
Excellent hamburger, amazing prime rib my cut was much bigger than the 16 oz I ordered. Excellent service with a real team... effort. I spent three times as much at a "4" Star steakhouse several days ago and it didn't come near the great meal that mywife and I enjoyed here. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone coming through the Valentine area. They use some wit andhumor in the menu and beer n wine list which gave us a chuckle. They make several of their salad dressings in house and thosewere also top notch. Read more
Seriously Amazing! I am from Omaha and this blows all those downtown restaurants I have been to out of the water. My filet was... perfection, it honestly was probably the best I've ever had. I was not expecting greatness from such a small town. I guess now Iknow better it being cattle country and all. If you are anywhere near here and love good food, I cannot recommend them enough! Really can't say enough about this restaurant! It's an absolutely gem of a place in a small, rural city. The food was... unbelievable, the portions were out of this world, great beer selection (including locally brewed craft beer which was fantastic????), and the service literally couldn't be any better. It's a model that other establishments should strive to be as they doALL of the little things right! From a friendly greeting at the door, to getting your drinks immediately, to serving beer in afrosted mug (????), to perfectly cooked broccoli, to hand-breaded, real fish, to spotlessly clean dining areas ... and I couldgo on, but we were all really impressed. To be in a hunting trip away from home in a small town and find a place like this waspretty cool! ???? Give them a try! You won't be unhappy, I guarantee it! And NO, I wasn't paid for this! We ate here since we were in town for a wrestling meet for the weekend. Place was nice, clean and staff was happy and attentive.... We had our 3 youngest with us and they seemed to enjoy their food. I had to switch prime rib out for my son's smoked brisket asthe sauce they put on the brisket was a bit too spicy for him. So he got my 12oz prime rib and I got his brisket. He loved theprime rib, and so did I. It was good. My son's brisket was over cooked/smoked. It was tough but not bad. We took dessert to go.Overall good place, clean and people were nice. Read more
