Great outdoor dining area. Service was prompt. Went for breakfast...the menu is basic. They don't describe the dishes. Also,... didn't see on the menu smaller versions but they were available. I was taken out to eat here for my birthday. It used to be a fav of ours, but we haven't visited in years since pandemic. The... prices and food were always very reasonable and food was "old fashioned" type good. A true mom and pop type place. This recenttrip however found prices (understandably) much higher and food, although still good, much different than it previously was. Therecipes/meals were different and many items had been taken off menu. My whole dinner was surprisingly very spicy and salty asits description said nothing to indicate it would be. Our waitress was good but obviously tired & wore no mask, nor took anyextra space between herself & table. It wasn't a complete fail but I don't care to visit again. Read more
The meatloaf wasn't bad, the veggies were great but the mash potatoes were not soft and fluffy. The mash potatoes were had the... texture of play-doh. We try them again sometime in the future. I did enjoy their salad. Read more
The service here was impeccable. The manager was very friendly and had extensive knowledge of the menu items and answered all of... our questions. Food was delicious and served quickly, despite the restaurant being pretty busy. Definitely recommend as a localvallejo staple that you have to try while you're in town. Read more
Boy do I feel silly it took me five years to discover this place. If you like old-school diner style portions then this is the... place for you. Great food in large portions are 2 things that really connect for me. One of those menus that has it all. Greatbreakfast all the way. The homemade biscuits are delightful. They have an excellent dessert bar, but I rarely have a room afterI eat my meal. They make the best Vegetarian Benedict my girlfriend has had the chance to have. They also cook hash browns withjust the right amount of crispy (I hate under cooked hash browns). Give it a try you won?t be disappointed. Read more
It's nice to know we have a place like this in our town for breakfast & lunch. I customized my breakfast order and I got chorizo... scrambled w/ hash browns and a cinnascuit. It was delicious, but my cinnascuit was a bit hard. My husband got country friedsteak as usual and had no complaints. Every time we eat here we never come across bad service and the servers are so friendlyand awesome. Read more
