Our recent experience at this Red Lobster was less than satisfactory given that the initial level of service was very lacking. ... Upon being seated, our waitress took our drink orders. In a restaurant that appeared to be at only about 30% occupancy, we weremistified that our drinks had not arrived after 10-minutes. Further, we had to alert our waitress that we were still waiting ondrinks. Our waitress informed us that our drinks were at the bar, yet it STILL took another 5-minutes for them to arrive. Uponthe arrival of my drink I immediately order another one assuming another long wait. The time between ordering and receiving ourfood was relatiely short. However, both of our steaks were overcooked; we ordered medium-rare and we both received well-done. At this point, a bartender named Denise interened and we were in good hands the remainder of our visit. Denise saw that ourmeals were remade and that we received a free dessert. She was apologetic about our experience but she made sure that ourexperience had dramatically improved. Denise saved the dinner. Read more

It's been awhile since we ate here and I'm so glad that our food was NOT a disappointment. Kudos to the chef! I'm all about... supporting businesses in our town, but sometimes it's heartbreaking when the staff or employees just don't care...Thank goodnessthe staff and our server, Dakota S was awesome! Their Bar Harbor Lobster Bake entree is hands down my favorite!! My husbandtried their Seafarer's Feast w/a side of Bacon Mac & Cheese. Everything we ordered was delicious. Read more

We stopped by to have lunch on a Sunday and the place was pretty quiet, got seated right away. You must order the scallops... wrapped in bacon, they are incredible! The menu is a lot smaller now but they still have their top menu items. Can't go wrongwith ordered shrimp scampi and Walt's shrimp. Our server was very friendly and nice. Only reason I am not giving them five starsis because we did wait almost 40 mins for the main entrees. Other than that, will come back for the scallops! Read more
