This was my first time to this place and I was super excited because I've been wanting to try there food. So I wanted a salmon... hand skin roll and they no longer carry it but still on the menu. Then I ordered a spicy tuna roll it was just a tuna roll thenI asked for it to be fried after the cashier went and walked around came back and I noticed my total went up and extra $5.00 Iasked what was 5 more dollars he said oh to have it fried no where near that roll did it say it charged now there were otheritems that specifically had that listed so I said please take that off. Then I asked for extra ginger which I was charged for.49 cents before I left I asked the person who helped me is the extra ginger in the bag they tell me yes it is they also askedme fork or chopstick I said chopstick neither was in the bag this place wasn't even that busy at the time I came in for you tomake my experience not a good one then I get the mixed tempura and the veggies were all the same except 1 carrot and the shrimp.I hope I hear back from a manager it's not about the money I spent it was the experience.... I ordered California rolls , Amigo rolls , Salmon avocado and the Cali Fried rolls. Everything had a very fishy taste , did not... taste fresh at all. Made me feel so nauseous and stomach pain was crazy afterwards. Wouldn?t recommend coming to this placeagain! Promise you , you would be better off buying Safeway/Raleys Sushi!! Read more

Came in for a take-out. Staff was super friendly upon entering. Greeted by staff and attended in a very nice manner by Vanessa.... Didn?t have to wait very long. I would say no more than 5-10 mins. And their sushi nachos were Tasty. Props to the chef forbeing so quick and food presentation????????. Read more

Absolutely terrible! I ordered the Poké bowl. If you eat sushi regularly, as I do. Then avoid this establishment. This is not... sushi. After I politely retuned my order with less then one half bite I couldn?t even swallow missing. They told me no refunds,only store credit. Since I never plan on going again. What good is credit for a service you don't want. Also, the place is a bitshabby. I do not enjoy giving negative reviews. But I had to call this place out? Read more

Visited your location on 07-21-22. I received really poor customer service the last time I was in here. I won't be coming back... again because of it. Nor will my family and friends. Employee was extremely rude to me when I came to pick up my order. Itseemed like she was not happy about something or having a bad day. I'm not sure. But good luck teaching your employees on howto provide great customer service. UPDATE: Then there needs to be proper training amongst ALL of your employees. Not oneperson ends up being trained properly then the others are not. Consistency is KEY. Balance is key. If not, then thisultimately ends up being the fault of the business NOT the consumer. Additionally, after her rude behavior was initiallycommenced, she continued to be rude to me after I came back and asked for some soy sauce which your business also consistentlyforgets about as well. Just seems to me that proper training needs to be better implemented. It takes only one bad experiencefor a consumer along with other consumers to not want to return. I would advise you to put more focus on the overall trainingof your employees in regards to customer service. Especially if they are interested in a pay check. Called in to verify no reservations were needed. The young lady was courteous and helpful. Walked in roughly 530pm. They had a... few people waiting for pickup so we sat at one of a few tables near the bar type seating and front windows. Once we realised itwas a walk up order then sit situation vs a sit down come take your order casual restaurant style we gathered our combined orderfor three. We ordered Nigori Sho Chiku Bai Sake. Pineapple/mango boba, strawberry/matcha and A strawberry/pineapple boba. We gotcucumber salads, Cali rolls, deep fried Cali roll, Tamago Maki, A chicken Teriyaki Bento Box w/gyoza, Sunomono, Veggie Yakisobaand to try the Thursday Special ($.99 each) we grabbed a few Spam Musubi. We stayed in to dine. The restaurant felt a bitcramped with only a few people in there. The only real complaint I have is that most sushi places I've been to run a tab foryou like a bar.. ie: sushi bar. I usually spend 200 just taking my time enjoying everything. But Sushi Obsession runs like a"fast food/take out" style. I was a smidge disappointed but only for the minor inconvenience of having to order and pay multipletimes. On to the whole reason for the visit... the food! I loved every bite! It was made perfectly! I am a huge fan of flyingfish roe (tobiko) so I got 3 of those. The cali roll was a cali roll. But the deep fried cali roll was- Wow!! The Spam Musubiwas good even if Spam isnt my thing. The yakisoba came to the table as we were packing up because I forgot I ordered it. But Ihad made 3 orders at that point.(it did not take a long time to get to us) I also tried boba for the first time & while thedrink its self (pineapple/mango) was delicious- I learned boba was not something I liked. NO! I really respected every review that admired this place. But darn. I found hair in my food, it was not packaged well, I... did not receive ginger nor wasabi for my bento, it stated I?d receive a free miso soup spending $20 or more, and no utensils?PLUS it took an hour to make at 4pm. Horrible horrible HORRIBLE. I promise I always do my research first. I go on Yelp, googleand I used their website for the last two days before deciding to eat here. But hair in my meal? An hour to make and had anhour to arrive? Not acceptable. Read more
