Drove 20 minutes to check them out. Swung by on a Thursday at 6:30pm (open hours), open sign out front? and nobody home.

First of all, this food was nothing short of spectacular! My family of four loved every single thing they ate, and THAT is a... major accomplishment!! Chef Fredrick is that guy that you want to be your dawg!!! Jambalaya, red beans and rice, shrimp, crawfish, chicken, Mac and cheese to die for, VODOO ROLLS!!! Then came desert. Red velvet cake, key lime cake, sweet potatopie?I thought I was in Cajun/Mardi Gras/nawlins heaven!!! I would have paid three times the price we paid and still beensatisfied. Read more

If there was a way to give more stars, I would. I post a lot of "date nights" on social media, but this beats them all....... Friends, you have absolutely GOT TO, GOT TO, GOT TO, try this place if you want the BEST Cajun food ever! I cannot HYPE this manenough! Everything is fresh, made to order, seasoned to perfection! Phenomenal food and an even better person living his bestlife running his small business! ?? We had the Crawfish Voodoo Rolls and Catfish with red beans and rice. Unbelievablydelicious! ???? OMG!!! Where do I start! We walk into a very quaint place, greeted by Chef Frederick, and the journey begins! We felt like we... were coming home to see family, AND the BEST home cooking in New Orleans....actually, better! Chef Frederick, like the bestfriend we all want, knew exactly what we were craving (even though we didn't have a clue) LOL! The menu changes, but after yourfirst visit you know, whatever is on the menu, you will love! Read more

I loved everything about my experience here. The owner is so pleasant. He was so kind and so easy to talk to and he just felt... like he had a good soul. I enjoyed talking to him. The restaurant is pretty, I love the New Orleans colors and the beads and Iespecially love the painted doors that lead to the kitchen. And last but certainly not least is the food. We got a bit ofeverything! Voodoo rolls were so delicious ???? never had anything like them before! The chicken and fish fried and seasoned toperfection! Alligator stir fry is my new favorite menu item aside from the voodoo rolls! So much flavor and a much needed changefrom the foods available in this area. It?s a comfort food for sure! Red beans and rice and the green beans are amazing. Eventhe bread is amazing y?all! Just Go now!!! My whole picky family of 5 from age 2 to 31 loved everything we had! Read more
