Lev was our waiter and explained how the place works. They have locations across the US and even outside. So local but not... local. Cute place, the inside and the patio are both lovely. The valley center location has a compostable toilet. Due topermits, they cook in a trailer and so their food is served in compostable ware. The sandwiches are awesome and I went for mysalmon sandwich and they let me get rid of lettuce and cheese and substitute with avocado. The only low point was they addedchips to my order and I hadn't seen that when I placed my order. So unfortunately, they served chips right on my plate, and theyaren't homemade. If I had seen that in a timely manner, I would have asked to not give me that but that wasn't their fault.Looks like their teas and breads are homemade as well. I would have liked actual plates but I can imagine it's harder withpermits in the location in valley center, near the lavender farm, so they made up with their compostable toilet. I look forwardto checking out some of their other locations. Definitely worth checking out. Read more

This place is super phenomenal!!!! I tried the salmon sandwich, carrot cake, and the ginger lemon green drink!! I was not... dissapointed one bit. Wish I could live around the corner from here, I would certainly eat lunch here daily. I enjoy supportinglocal businesses and I am glad I stopped in. In this uncertain time of COVID this was truly an awesome place to eat outdoors.The drive was worth it.The natural outdoor... setting is very relaxing and serene. The food was great and the green juices are the best I have ever tasted. The service wasoutstanding. Mr. Jose, I believe he's one of the owners takes service to a different level, he made us feel like we were diningat a friend's house and not at a restaurant.Thank you Jose. Very interesting place to go. The food wasn't bad, but the Deli Rose wasn't great either. The pickle and chips and tea were... awesome though, as well as the banana bread. I think the problem was not of the sandwich just didn't fit my expectations, whichis why I still have it five stars. The atmosphere was pretty interesting. I will definitely be back if I am in the area again,which is likely since I ride my motorcycle a lot. As always, I rate stars as follows: 1- not good all around, 2- some goodvalue, but pretty common and nothing stood out, 3- a solid choice all around, 4- one of my favorites, 5- a great experience allaround and very unique for the area.
