Had my bridal shower there last Sunday. Barn was beautiful with twinkling lights, great big mantle, lanterns, and a spacious... room that fit about 65 guests comfortably. This was a truly fantastic experience. I tried various wines, from the Concord, to the Honey Mead to the Pink Catawba. All were... truly excellent, though I'd have to say my favorite was the Pink Catawba. (They do have beer as well but I had wine instead.)The atmosphere is very inviting and warm. They had a nice fire going, which added to that atmosphere. Our waitress/bartender,Joshalyn, was very friendly and gave great advice on which wines to try. The upstairs is very rustic and spacious, and would begreat for parties. We also got to see how the wine was made, which was really cool. Overall, I highly recommend Jilbert Wineryfor anyone looking for a calm, warm atmosphere, great wine, and excellent service. Read more
Set inside the old world charm barn built in 1897, hooks you in with wonders of history and family. The owner and his employee... seal these feelings of family with their warm greetings and relentless effort to make you feel welcome and cared for. Theemployee was bursting with pride as she gave us a little tour of her home away from home. She showed us the belly of theoperations, the distilleries and storing facilities. She was well informed on each and every component used to make their wineand beer. Speaking of wine and beer, unfortunately, I am unable to drink the beer, but I must say the wine like the people whocarefully crafted it, echoes feelings of warmth, comfort, and passion. Another great Saturday afternoon at Jilbert winery. Its quiet and relaxing the craft beer is fantastic and changed often.... Pumpkin and xmas ale is the best out there and i never forget my Lager. We tried all 5 of the sweet wines and we thought they were all gross. It also smelled weird in there, but it was super cute... inside and the lady was nice. Unfortunately we just didn?t like any of their wines at all. Read more
I was out for a Sunday drive and stopped in and glad I did. This place is so relaxing. Just grab a beer and roam around an old... farm. The place is in a old barn and would be a great place for a party or wedding. Seating indoors and out. Read more
