We loved it. I had the catfish poor boy (only served on Friday) and my wife had the duck in burger (she loved it). We both had... Cole slaw and it was also good. Located just off the bike trail, so that's how we wound up here. Cute combination of littlestore, bait, and restaurant, but it works. A great place with an atmosphere of NOLA. The food, especially the burgers and tots, are amazing. The staff are very personable.... I like the made to order feel where you drop off your ticket after you order so it is made exactly for you. This is a hidden geminside a convenience market. My only wish is that they had longer hours of operation. However, shorter hours means more customerattention and better quality, which they definitely have! Read more
Father/son run convience store and restaurant. The service is friendly, the drink fridges have a good variety and the food is... always delicious! My go to is a fried bologna sandwich and it always hits the spot. Fridays are catfish day if that tickles yourfancy. Be sure to get your weekday lunch here, it's awesome! Read more
Duck in Market is a hole in the wall Cajun joint tucked in downtown Valley Park and inside of a convenience store. How much more... could you need to know to guarantee how great it is? It's run by a father and 2 sons with some NOLA blood; 1 son takes yourorder and payment up front, the other son and the dad are cooking in the back.
