Stopped here for a quick lunch, and ordered a BBQ pork sandwich. They had the thing ready in literally two minutes, and I was... out the door. Very friendly staff who don't mess around! The sandwich itself was excellent; they gave me two sauces to try and Iended up using both. The fries were quite good as well, they were very well seasoned. Man, I guess it was good, mostly the sides. I don't care about their pulled pork, it had no taste and was dry. I had better... honestly. Without their sauce it has no taste whatsoever. When you cook meat, mostly pork, you add spices, it doesn't matter ifyou smother that meat in sauce later, the meat has to have taste before the sauce; and the secret is not to cook it until ittastes like carboard. Their sides are good though. I went back a second time and ordered the wings. Much better choice. The ribsand the burger were good, according to my parents in law. The place wasn't very clean either. If my shoes get sticky on thefloor, to me that's not a clean place. The bathroom is another indicator of a restaurant who cares about it's hygiene. I don'twant to be mean, but to me that's a big let down to use a dirty bathroom. If I'm spending my money out I want to enjoy everyaspect, the food and the clean space. The girls who served were very friendly and checked on us constantly, so the service isgood. I'll go back for carry outs from now on. Read more
This place has made a 180 since first time I tried this place. The food was perfect. The made best potato salad I have ever had... from a restaurant. Their fried pickles worth every dime they cost. I believe this place went from a restaurant I look past to aoccasional stop. Read more
Family atmosphere, rustic feel to the place. Food was excellent!! The ribs are melt in your mouth, the brisket is slow smoked... and delicious and the honey wings are altogether in their own class, the fried corn on the cob was also very well done andprepared nicely, they have fried pickles AND mushrooms. Delicious! They have really good BBQ. The waitresses are obviously trained well because they do a fantastic job. I enjoyed... the pulled pork as well as a little cup of the chicken salad. The chicken salad was quite good, as was the pulled pork. Read more
