2022.04-26/TUE_1640: THE ONLY pizza I can eat. I'm highly allergic to tomatoes and I'm gluten intolerant but how is it that I... can have Joe Peeps' pizza???!!! I love the staff here and the music is always the greatest, too! They're always smiling and theambiance is always the same when we visit! Today was great because I was able to order a pizza for take away and pick it up. Soit was awesome to see the wonderful staff that makes the incredible food and who I've spoken to on the phone as well. We have toorder delivery must of the time because if we leave the house, we won't have parking! It was a treat to meet and see everyone inaction! Anyway, the food quality is insane here. I can't say that enough. I have no allergic reactions to their pizza sauce anddough! This means the ingredients are of excellent quality. The amount of toppings on the pizza is always the perfect amount andthe ingredients are always fresh! I usually buy a container of the pizza sauce so I can use it to cook something at home. That's how much I love their sauce. I'm not allergic. What is it?! Homegrown tomatoes? The Steak Sandwich....oh, dear heavenlyFather... wow. I can honestly say that this is the ONLY place that has the closest thing on the menu that tastes just like aPhilly Cheesesteak. Oh, what in the world is this??!! We had gotten a large Steak sandwich and added cheese. I couldn't eventake a bite, the sandwich was so huge. Not only was this a behemoth of a sandwich, the steak...the steak was not Steak Ums meat.It was thinly sliced, tender steak. What the heck. The cheese was stringy and melted perfectly throughout the sandwich and therewere onions and green peppers just buried in there. The bread...SO soft and it was not thick and dense at all. My favorite pizza place in the San Fernando Valley. Joe Peeps for me is a treat! I don't know what it is exactly, but their... pizza is perfect. The sauce is tasty and fresh. They use quality cheese and do not, in the slightest, skimp on toppings. Ialmost feel like they put too many toppings on a pizza! There service has definitely improved in the past 2 years both inservice and customer interactions. The staff are all friendly and I cannot forget to mention their iconic graffiti wall. Ihighly recommend Joe Peeps for anyone looking for delicious pizza! P.S., I would recommend ordering a large since anythingbigger than that has thinner than usual crust! Read more
This little corner dive was really good-what a lucky find!! They had the football playoffs on when we got there to pick up our... food (always a bonus). We had the 5969 Calorie cheese pizza and some pasta w marinara sauce. Seriously delicious-pasta had aunique flavor and the pizza had a great cheese blend. If you haven’t tried Joe Peep’s Pizza, you’re missing a lot in your pizza life. I don’t usually like plain Cheese Pizza... but Joe Peep’s version is something I would order again. It is very tasty and cheesy. Also, the Meat Lover’s pizza is theabsolutely the best - they do not skimp on meat! This is one of my favorite New York style pizza places that's near my home. But I have frequent it whenever I could. And... recently a few months ago I had to change to a vegan vegetarian diet. For a lifestyle change the vegetable pizzas it's betterthan the meat pizzas as well. You can't go wrong with your peeps they've had a desserts the cheesecake was delicious. Read more
