Great place for good food and a small gameroom to entertain my kids. We spend tops 10-15 mins in the game room for $20 to... entertain a 3 and 5 yr old. They get a prize at the end of the trip and everyone's happy. The kids are raving about the prizes.Everyone wins! Read more

The area is very sketchy, a lot of homeless people. It is a big location and very open spaced. The staff were polite and... helpful. They have an arcade area for the kids, but unfortunately the all you can eat buffet is gone. Prices are a little high,but the food was good. Read more

I?ve been coming here since i was a young child with my parents. And lucky now i am blessed for this place to bring my own. But... today was one of the most disappointing visits i?ve had. Alex R, who seems to be a the new manager had the worst attitude inattending my family and I. We have a 5 yr old who is on spectrum, and only eats mojos, due to the pickiness of his food.Therefor we enjoy visiting shakeys since we can all eat and he can eat mojos. Now that being we only ordered 2 meals thinkingsince my child wouldn?t eat why pay for the extra meal. Now Alex approached us and asked us to pay for an extra meal and i hadexplained the situation he insisted we payed. I responded i would pay but to let me finish cause if i got up my child wouldn?tfinish his food. And he insisted yelled at my face ?NO NOW? I understand and know its his job. He?s young and all but i ask thathe is talk to and realize kindness goes a long way. If i was in the wrong at first I understand , correct me but in the rightway.. and tone. My child was terrified. It?s a family restaurant and its always important to create happy memories. Alex R has avery rude and unwelcoming attitude. One of the employees did agree he was rude and out of line. We ordered from Doordash and what a surprise. I've never had it and my husband wanted me to try their "Mojos". We were watching... some old 80's commercials and that's when we decided to order some Shakey's. Way better than expected, affordable and tasty! Weordered a combo - a white, thin crust pizza with basil, southern fried chicken and Mojos. I haven't had fried chicken in over 6years and I'd have to say, it was moist and seasoned well. Nothing was overcooked or dry. I like the thin breading they use. TheMojos are delicious. The perfect thickness for a nicely seasoned potatoes. They are lightly crispy on the outside with tenderpotato on the inside. The white pizza was the perfect size. The crust was super light, crispy and I just loved the texture. Best thing about all this - it didn't upset my stomach! Super happy. All in all, a nice, old school treat when you wantsomething vintage to bring you back to the pizza parlor/arcade days or even for a light cheat day! Read more

I?ve eaten here often before, ( I thought I had written a review before), they opened up to limited Indoor dining, I usually... have their bunch-a lunch (AYCE) and I was curious how they are doing this now, kinda the same way, except it?s served cafeteriastyle, you pay, then point to the foods you want and they put the food on paper plates and tray and them your selection to you. When you want seconds, you go back and repeat. Soda machines are off limit, you tell them what you want and they will get youyour drinks. The servers are nice and friendly, they are all wearing mask and gloves. They have hand sanitizers available forcustomer?s use.
