I LOVE THIS PLACE. I went there for the first time and the staff were so helpful and kind. The macarons are the best I have ever... had and I loved the opera finger cake!! Will definitely be back. Read more

While there are plenty of bakeries and sweet shops in Valpo, none of them come close to Bao's. I've been coming here since they... opened and every single dessert is as delicious as the next. They have a wide selection to appeal to all preferences and theseasonal items keep the options fresh. The staff are very knowledgeable about the products as well. I cannot recommend Bao'senough. This is my most favorite pastry. I bought a chocolate mousse and Paris-Brest for my husband birthday. Mousse is so smooth and... something crunchy is inside. It was fun to eat it. Paris-Brest looked so cute. Hazelnuts cream has amazing flavor. In addition, the appearance of all pastries is very delicate and beautiful. Not only they are colorful, but the decorations are so detailed. You can tell by looking at pastries that they are doing a great job! Read more

Just simply phenomenal. You don't get this level of quality, attention to detail, and unique kind of offering in small towns. We... are so lucky to have BAO in Valpo. The croissants, the mousse cakes, the fruit tarts, and more. You will not be disappointed -skip going to a big city of flying to Paris - this is your ticket to pastry delight! Read more

A cute, smaller shop in the middle of down town! Wasn't too expensive and had a great selection of fresh pasteries ???? I really... enjoyed being able to try some unique deserts I've never had before! The dark berry tart was so good, and the Tiramisu Cup +Creme Brule were just as good as I've dreamed of. I can't wait to come back and try more delicious snacks from this location! Itis a little small, so you may have to wait outside during the busier times, but otherwise absolutely no complaints!!
