Cute lil Cafe coffee is good, food isn't bad, but lacks a signature. There's nothing about any of it that stands out, and makes... me want to come back. Everything was delicious if not a little overpriced for what you get (in regards to the sandwiches). Our drinks took a very... long time, we were about halfway done eating before they called us to the counter for them. The service at the counter wasfriendly and the cashier told a woman who cut us to get in the line. She was firm about it but not rude. That she didn?t takeany nonsense from that woman was much appreciated. Read more
Soups, sandwiches, and avariety of teas, coffee and excellent hot cocoa. We had perfectly toasted bagels and cream cheese with... butternut squash bisque and hot cocoa. A comforting and tasty treat in a tranquil environment. I will be coming back soon for apot of tea and some pie. Read more
This coffee shop is a most inviting and down-to-earth establishment. All the espresso drinks are smooth and aromatic, and the... food items I have tried so far are all very tasty. The layout of the space for both inside and outside is comfortable. On top ofthat, baristas are extremely friendly and efficient. My absolute favorite cafe in town. I love Uptown and Fluid too, but this place absolutely SERVES in the food department. Every... food item I have had from this place has been absolutely wonderful. Their roasted veggie/portabella and goat cheese sandwich hasto be one of my favorite sandwiches in town. You just HAVE to try it! Their broccoli and cheddar quiche (not pictured) was thefirst one I ever had and it was spectacular as well. Additionally, I have had their nutella streudel (which was basically anutella pop-tart but with puff pastry) and it was absolutely divine. The coffee is pretty good as well and they a good varietyof syrup flavors to choose from (my favorite is the Torani sugar free caramel :) ). This is absolutely one of my go-to places inValpo and heavily recommended for anyone who visits (not to mention it's right downtown too!). Read more
Their pumpkin pecan coffee was excellent today. First time here, love the atmosphere and the coffee was delicious. I don't... normally like pumpkin stuff but this is the exception (it's not very pumpkin-y). We will be back for sure. Read more
