Excellent food and drink. Service was very good as well. Everyone had a good time.
Delicious food, mediocre service. Update: we still eat here. Semi-frequently, but you have to go knowing that you will be there... for sometime and that the service is just sub par at best. It's often 10-15 minutes before they come take your food order andthey never ask your drink order so you have to do it all at once. If you want another round of sushi, good luck because theyaren't coming back. You have to wait a long time for the bill, etc. The upside is that the sushi is fantastic. The Godzilla andBaja Maki are my favorites (and can be made with no meat for vegetarians). My husband loves the Yellow River. Ramune is greatand always a fun bonus. Went to celebrate my birthday this past Friday evening. We were immediately sat at the bar and got service almost instantly, the... bar tender was very understanding of our slowness given we'd never been to this location. Tried the Tokyo Tea, Fried SpringRolls, and Katsu Chicken. Everything was amazing, and I even liked the leftovers (which is a rarity). The bathrooms were cleanand it was a generally great experience! We dined on a Saturday afternoon, so we weren't fortunate enough to get in on a lunch special. We ordered a Kid's Mini Katsu,... Chashu Ramen, Seafood Ramen, Spicy tuna roll, Spicy salmon roll, and Teriyaki Chicken. Everyone enjoyed their food. The vanillaice cream mochi was excellent and is a must-try. Strawberry sake $28 for a small bottle, but worth the experience. Regular hotsake was much more afforable. With food & drinks, our bill was around $140 (without tip). Very disappointing experience at Furin despite the generally positive reviews we have seen. We started with the tuna tataki was... which good. But the 2 signature maki’s we ordered were some of the worst we have ever had. Not only were they small, but theylike very little fish and the taste was dominated by the excessive amounts of avocado or cream cheese. Really poor for $14“signature” maki and can’t recommend for the price! Read more
First time eating here food was pretty good. Tried the soft shell crab and a shushimi starter both were good. Also ordered two... different sushi rolls and a bowl of Ramen. The Ramen was average. Sushi was good. The service was a little slow. Read more
The food was delicious and the it came out quickly. The service was pretty good but the servers were barely around. You just had... to get ones attention and they would help. The restaurant was a little dark and poorly lit but it was empty when I went and veryquiet. Read more
