Went today and am wondering why it took us so long between our last visit and this one! Our food was great as always. But... service was amazing. The lady we had today was the best server we have had at a restaurant ever! She made us feel as though shewas hosting us at her home. We have a family of 6 and our bill was under $50, minus the tip which was WELL deserved. Read more
The food was great, but this time around the chips and salsa just didn't seem the same. Salsa was fine but the chips didn't seem... homemade... Thin, cold, and tasteless. And are alcohol sales truly ever coming back? Fix those two things and Pepe's Valpo canearn it's rightful 5th star. Read more

Pepe's is one of my favorite taco spots to hit up when I'm near. Best tacos ever. Just today I ordered a couple stuffed tacos... beef. Well I opened the tacos and added some sour cream. I noticed the beef wasn't ground beef it was steak. So I tried itanyways and my dude. I didn't care that they made a mistake I'll be getting steak tacos from now on, those things were mad goodmy guy. It was really good! Margaritas were top notch and the carne aside was delicious. Only things that I noticed was the carne asada... came well done and not med rare and the poblano tasted like it was deep fried in a hot dog bun. Not the best dish. Love the Lunch Specials! Great price for a filling quantity and good quality. The staff remembers who you are which makes it... more of a friendly environment. Would recommend for Lunch any day of the week! Read more
