The gyro meat and falafel wrap are amazing. The people there are very nice. The restaurant is clean and the decor is very nice.... The French fries had something on them that was so delicious. Cannot say enough good things about this little shop. We?re soglad we stopped by for lunch. I will be back to try the Turkish coffee. Read more

Personally, I found the food disappointing despite the positive reviews. Hummus was way too pasty, the chicken wrap lacked any... seasoning and I couldn't comprehend the chicken's texture, chicken entree was decent and like many others felt the falafel wasover done. Staff seemed very courteous though! EDIT: Owner's response claims my review is fake. Would like to address that andconfirm I've indeed been to the place in person. Would be better to address the food and taste than claim a review is a fake.Good luck! Read more

Perfection! There is not one bad thing I say about this restaurant! The service is awesome, the place is beautifully decorated... and clean. The food, oh man, the food is delicious! I had the Turkish coffee and trust me when I say WOW, it is not for thefaint of heart. I ordered the chicken curry on basmati rice with lentil soup and the hummus and it did not disappoint at all!Lastly, I had the baklava, it tasted like heaven with each bite!!! This is a must return soon kind of place! Read more

My daughter and I were recently here, and we thought the food was delicious. Seating is informal, but once you've ordered,... they'll bring your food to your table and check up on you as you eat. Both of us got gyro platters and the falafel over hummus. All was super tasty. Pricing was reasonable for the most part. My only criticism - and believe me, it's a mild one - is thatthey charge an exorbitant price for a single can of soda. I did not find the food to be overpriced. Definitely try this place. You won't regret it. Read more

A real treasure of the Van Alstyne area. Very good food at reasonable prices given the location, and a nice (albeit small)... restaurant. The lamb/beef gyro, rice, and pita bread were excellent. All four of the hummus included in the sampler were prettygood, but not the best I've ever had. The chicken - while good, also paled in comparison to the lamb gyro. Service was good buta bit slow, as there were only two people up front and you could tell they were kept busy. Read more
