I have lived in the area for a while and kept seeing Lido but never visited till this past week. Wow, I really was missing out.... Their food was great! Huge portions and everything is made fresh. Best Pizza. Rolls are incredible. We as always order extra. Pasta is always predictably great and consistent. I could go on.... Been going for 20 years. I live an hour away now but get bye when I get anywhere close! Today I had a Cold Cut Sandwich. It washuge! Very tasty. Read more
Living close by, been meaning to try this place for over 5 years. Finally decided to try it. Ordered the large pizza with... meatballs, sausage and jalapenos. The pizza was heavy and delicious. The toppings were generous and you can taste the quality.Although it's pricey, I will be coming back here again. Beware, the jalapenos are spicy and go well. So I looked up local spots cuz I was hungry!! I always look up the negative reviews just in case...there were not to many but... let me just say how wrong they were... the pizza so stacked and sooooo delectable that we finished the pizza. We orderedpepperoni and green pepper pizza...had a nice spicy bite. The staff was very friendly no complaints there either. I posted a picdon?t let the it fool you, it looks like a disaster but it is a delight to eat. The antipasto salad was average but why go to apizza place for salad anyway!! Update: wholly super toppings!! Went again and did not disappoint when I tell you that the costto add extra topping is totally worth it I am not lying. Our 1 large pizza was topped off so much so that we could not finishit. The stretch on cheese is incredible. My recommendation is to eat there or eat the pizza right away it is worth it. 1complaint they need fans because the dine in during the summer is ????. The best pizza and pizzeria atmosphere in LA. One of my favorite places to take people when they visit the city. A nice quiet... and relaxed feel, has a bit of a classic old school Italian restaurant style to it. The pizza is always amazing, just the rightamount, everything fresh and tasty, the sauce particularly. Been coming here for years, the service and food has always beenequally excellent.
