The meal was really nice,but the service was just so bad, I have never been treated this way.
Security guard was super rude. He made an incredibly disrespectful comment about how my group wasn?t good looking enough to get... a table. I?d appreciate a little more subtlety next time around. 12 Kings is a great place to go on Sunday night for their comedy open mike! It's become one of my favorite local spots for... comedy because: 1. Anyone can sign up! The show starts at 9pm so just get there early (8-ish) and you can get your name on thelist. 2. Brendan, the emcee, is very funny, high energy, and introduces everyone like they are the greatest comedian on earth.He also watches the time and keeps the show moving! He is kind and funny when a comic has gone on a little too long and needs tobe "encouraged" to give up the mike. :) 3. Because anyone can sign up, some comics will be hilarious and some will bomb.However, even when someone bombs, it can be quite entertaining. It's good fun and everyone there is trying to get better. If yousit near the front, the comics will talk to you! It's all in good fun and in general, the comics are quite nice and appreciativetowards the audience. 4. The staff is chill and super nice. Even they get up and take a turn at the open mike. 5. The food isgreat! This place has all the things it needs to be awesome except good customer service and good food. Maybe it was an off night when... we were there but service was incredibly slow and the food was quite meh. The beer menu is quite nice! Read more

Beer selection is ok, but the food prices are absolutely outrageous. Get ready to pay $18 for a sandwich and an extra $5 for... fries. No burgers or sandwiches come with sides of any kind. Also condiments are charged. $2 for extra mayo or ketchup.Absolutely ridiculous. This used to be a chill pub and lately the owner is just price gouging as hard as they possibly can. Icome here for trivia, but don't order food anymore. Such a ripoff. Edit: Owner responded acting like every restaurant ischarging like this. They aren't. Many better options for food nearby, both price and quality, go to one of them. +$5 for frieswith your burger is unheard of in this city, especially at a pub. Edit 2: That is completely untrue, waitress did not cry atall, and we tried to refuse her returning the $1, but she insisted after i asked about the $2 upcharge for one side of plainmayo. We didn't get 2 and i will happily share the reciept to prove it. No harsh words were said, and the entire exchange withher was maybe 2-3 minutes in total.
