Luxurious. Expensive, So don't come here unless you're prepared to spend some money on some great drinks and some great food.... My fabulous cocktail was $25 but worth every penny. I only had some olives but man were they delicious. I like coming to placeslike this because it's a great place to people watch and to experience really great service and just sit back and relax. Theywere fine with me just ordering a few things and sitting back and reading a book or shall I say pretending to read abook. Service was impeccable and everyone I came in contact with was a delight. It was sad to see some people being rude to thepeople that were serving them or throwing a tantrum when a table was not available to them. Our first stop in Vancouver on this trip back after several years. Not only is Vancouver a unique and wonderful city, maybe the... best of all worlds in North America, but the Lobby Lounge in the Georgian Hotel (The Old Name) is quintessential Vancouver. Elegant, sophisticated, but so damn down to earth, with no false pretense, the Lobby Lounge is a fantastic bar. Joe was ourbartender, mixologist, story teller, and teacher. He made us feel so welcomed, and he showed his appreciation for ourpatronage. My martini was ideal, and the white Canadian wine dry and crisp.
