This location is worst . I ordered veggie combo . And used upgrade coupon fries to onion rings. Instead of combo price $ 12.18 .... They charge me everything different different. Charged me 15.88$ careful.staff is not fully trained. Speaking there own luggageand laughing on this incident. Read more
The best a&w we have ever visited. Today is Tuesday Nov 6, 538pm. Great food temperature and taste, great soda balance, place... very clean and very friendly staff. If all the a&ws where like this one, we would definitely visit the a&wsmore often. Thankyou! Read more
I love A&W however, this must be one of the worst locations to order from. The place is dirty, the service horrible, the chubby... chicken dried up and cold. I have given this location 3 tries and today I threw my mazzo burger in the garbage as it washorrible. The staff don't wear gloves nor do they wash their hands as they handle money and food. I will never visit thislocation again!!! Shame that one location is tarnishing the reputation of a great fast food chain. Read more
The Alberni St. location is a personal fav , with good ambience and well-intentioned staff; the newest of which require... additional training in Eng. and CS before working the front line. Other commenters have mentioned the staff issue already. I'llerr on the side of caution and focus on the eating experience. A&W serves up what some might call, incl. me, slightly upscalefastfood. I tend to believe its marketing extolling the restaurant's using fresher, untainted ingredients. An interesting asideto this is the chain's food isn't always the tastiest, though perhaps it's 'cleaner' amongst Big Fastfood. Prices for thepremium burgers ranking higher in the A&W family tree are a bit outside my budget, so I can't vouch on their flavor as of yet.Onion rings, however, I feel are a step above, as are the fries that I usually order dbl seasoned. Dining in, you'd commit adisservice if not ordering the trademark rootbeer in anything but a glass mug. The same goes for coffee here. The best drink isalways in glass. Read more
I honestly prefer A&W over other fast food places, I find their burgers tastier and especially love getting the onion rings or... yam fries. My only complaint is at this location I ordered two spicy chicken wraps, and the receipt showed twoz but only one wasprovided in the bag, and this happened to me twice. Read more
It?s A&W. A fast food burger restaurant. I find the. Burgers here are better than most other fast food chains. This location... does not have parking and you will need to find pay street parking. The location is only a few years old so the inside is brightand new. I ordered the Mozza Burger Combo which included fries and a drink. If you stay in to eat they give your drink a chilledglass Mug which is amazing. Definitely put their special seasoning spice on your fries. Food did come out cold, both the burgerand fries were cold and slightly stale. Read more
My first time trying an A&W joint, and it was well worth it. Went specially to try the 'Beyond Meat Burger' and was amazed with... the taste similarity of a plant based burger with a cheese burger. The research team at A&W has done a pretty amazing job withthis burger patty it is so close in taste to the beef one that I am at a loss of words. Now back to this joint the place wasclean, staff was friendly and service was good. Read more
Yesterday I visited a and w Alberni and the store was messy staff didn?t even care about customers keep gossiping in their own... language and even the cashier was rude to me. Was not good experience. From next time if I need to walk a bit more I will go tobute location instead of this one. Read more
