Tried their nutcracker afternoon tea. Food is good and their loose leaf tea is a big surprise! I had pear ???? tea which... normally not a strong flavour tea but i can already smell the nice pear when I poured out the tea. Also ordered apple pie blend, wild strawberry and chocolate black tea and they are all very good. Read more

Great ambiance! The food was delicious! Slow staff who are forgetting what u order and maybe u received what u asked late or not... at all ???? Uploaded picture of what they call it birthday cake "slice" and even if they ask your birthday person three timeswith spelling, again they will forget to write it for u ???? I give 4 because of the food and ambiance. Reduce yourexpectations if you are looking for great service, then the place is good to try ???? Read more

I would give Bacchus a 2/5 for the disrespectful service from the hostess of seating me and my partner in the farthest back... corner of the restaurant beside the exit to the washroom doors. We made reservations and were appalled at the placement. We wereable to move to the upper tier, close to the piano, which was 1000% better, but why were we not placed there initially? Thisstill behooves me to this day. We were there for evening dinner and through the duration of our meal, no one sat it the far backcorner beside the exit to the washroom. Disrespectful. Overall the dinner service was as expected. The food get a 4/5 Themaple ginger butternut squash soup was the best part of the night. How sad that the appetizer was the highlight of the eveningfor a highly rated restaurant in Downtown Vancouver. Anywho, it was delicious, the toasted pumpkin added a delicious toastyflavour, I would return just for the soup. The yellow tail king fish crudo was good. The pan roasted Yarrow Meadows Duck breastwas tasty but got too salty the more I ate, and was not memorable. The reversed seared Alberta AAA beef tenderloin was fillingand my partner enjoyed it. Bacchus was beyond breathtaking. Upon reading to the menu, there were too many items that were unique to my palate to decide... what I wanted. It was my birthday dinner and our wonderful waiter pretty much suggested all of the items we ended up getting.Don't question this place. Just go. Trust me. (Side note. They informed me they will be changing the menu for Spring so I willbe going back to give another review on the new menu) Read more

The service is good, live music his very enjoyable. However, the food quality is average, desserts felt like factory food, steak... was hard to chew and not prime parts. There are areas this restaurant could improve on. Read more

Atmosphere, amazing. Food and drinks, amazing. Service and quality, amazing. My boyfriend and I had our 5 year anniversary... dinner here on a Sunday night and the setting was perfect in the lounge. Candle light, live piano music, quaint little table, itwas ambience bliss. Thank you for a perfect evening. Read more

Came here for brunch with our family. The Ambiance and Service was great. One of the eggs Benedicts came and the egg was super... runny. However the manager or supervisor on duty was super helpful and helped us quickly take care of that. Definitely top notchservice. The food was good, portions are on the small side for the price but you can't expect to come here to be stuffed.Overall good experience. Read more
