If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I was hesitant to come because of the location, I?m not a big fan of mall food. ... However the high rating got me curious to try the place. Being that I?m from Jakarta, Indonesia, I had to try and see if it?sgoing to be authentic. I was wowed!! Holy moly it brought me back to feeling like I was back home eating Mi ayam in BakmiGajah Mada. Everything they serve is amazing, and it?s better than the Indonesian restaurants in Los Angeles or Houston despitethe fact that there?s a larger Indo population in those 2 cities. I love this place and if I came back to Vancouver in thefuture, it will be one of my first stops! Read more

I believe this is the only place in the city that offers Indonesian food. And I?m so grateful that it exists. The food is... remarkably delicious! I went two days in a row for my lunch break. The lady at the counter is like a fresh breeze from heaven.I?ll be coming here often. Read more

Tasty, authentic food freshly made. Bali Thai is in a food court so it's super casual dining but it has a genuine kopitiam vibe... about it, so it's all good. Read more

The food is so good! This unpretentious shop in a food court totally deserve the high rating it has. I ordered the Soto Betawi... (creamy beef soup served with steamed rice). The soup was fragrant and delicious with tender pieces of beef and beef tendon.Perfect with rice. I added a little sambal to the soup and it had even more kick. My hubby got the Ayam Penyet (smashedchicken) and it was very tasty too. We also got a side of 6 chicken satay. Coupled with 2 hot teas, our meal came up to around$46 before tips. The lady serving us was super friendly too. What a great lunch! Read more

My second time eating Indonesian food in Vancouver was pretty good! I must admit, for a food court all in all it was pretty... pricey and I've paid around the same for dine in restaurant experiences at other joints but the quality is just as good. However, the food was super yummy, a plentiful portion and made fresh to order for about a 15 minute wait. All in all, it wasworth it and is a great place to grub. The staff here are also super friendly, kind and approachable here. Support localbusiness! Read more
