Its atmosphere is schizophrenic. There are a lot of large TV's on with various people in costumes playing with various shapes... of balls and sizes of nets. Occasionally middle age men scream loudly at these TV's. The room is also adorned with old wallhangings and some Greek letters. Perhaps an homage to UBC 's Greek system of binge drinking and vomit. The food was ok, but wehad to ask twice for a menu and cutlery and condiments are also not provided without being requested. Read more
Love this place. They have completely redone the room and it looks incredible. Still has some awesome games down on the first... floor but the new layout is super cool. The new menu is also amazing! Sports are always live and local and the service team wasreally happy to be there and very personable. After 9pm on the weekends it also turns into a busy nightclub. If you haven't beenhere check it out as soon as possible and if you have but haven't been back in a while - go check it out. Read more
Really lovely ambiance. I once painted one of my Easter eggs to resemble Pope John Paul the second, and in doing so accidentally... traumatized the kindergarten class in their Easter egg hunt when they found his sneering visage in the shrubbery. I enjoyed alovely pint of lager and basked in the music provided by the DJ! A bit loud but you don?t go to a hospital for a great meal nowdo you? Adrian Mak out. Read more
Went here for Monday night trivia and so much fun. Good vibes, many screens to watch sports. They have happy hour 3 to 6pm. I... cant wait to go back and try mini arcades they have. Definitely recommend. Read more
This is pretty much my local and I like the beer selection, patio, and TV situation for large event sports. But I wouldn?t be... caught dead in it after 9 PM when it turns into pretty much Kits only loud drunk central. Excellent for daytime or eveningcocktails but it?s a total scene at night. Read more

Cool place! You walk past a small arcade as you enter and then the main hall is up the stairs. My party ended up here because we... decided to have an impromptu afterparty and Bimini's was one of the few venues that was open late on a Thursday and had room fora big group. They have a great list of draught beer and specialty cocktails (my first two choices - one beer and one cocktail -were out of stock, but I loved the raspberry wheat ale I ended up with. The food menu isn't huge but it's different and moreinteresting than the usual bar food. I got the crispy avocado tofu bowl. There was only 5 bite-size pieces of tofu and half anavocado in the bowl but it ended up being pretty filling and I wasn't actually wishing for more tofu/avocado when I finished.Objectively this was probably a little overpriced, but I don't know of any comparable places that wouldn't charge the same pricefor a similar dish. Music was way too loud for the amount of people that were there (just our big group and maybe 2 smallergroups of 2-4), but otherwise the vibe was good. Service was pleasant and attentive. Read more
It?s fine, but service has been pretty poor most times I?ve gone, which makes the default 18% tip option that much more of a... jab. Drinks are pretty expensive too outside of happy hour. Read more
