Everywhere is struggling to find staff these days. It took forever for us to get attention to pay and leave. We went to the till... eventually but no one was working very hard. Cool location - pretty unique. Great beer selection and good if uninspired pubfare. I will be back and hopefully it's 4 or 5 stars next time! Read more

Managed to squeeze in to a table on a busy evening, keep in mind this place isn't big, so if you have a big party of people it... might be best to call ahead and ask if they can take you in. Service is friendly. Good selection of beer and food. Location isoff the main road so it cuts away the noise and you get a nice breeze on a summer evening. Have few TVs with sport on so that'sa plus. Two stars is for the food. My group of 11 came in (we had kids with us after a long day of sightseeing) and the server seemed... very uninterested in accommodating us. Told us to figure out our own seating arrangements because he only had a table of 8available (the restaurant was not busy at all). Rude customer service otherwise Read more

Location and beer was good, service was not. It was a constant struggle to get our server’s attention. It looked like she... intentionally avoided making eye contact with customers. We sat inside by the open window. It soon became very hot with one sideof the table in direct sunlight. We attempted to lower the sunshade and we certainly got the server’s attention this time. Wewere told “don’t you dare” and another staff member near by said “you should have seen the knuckles of the last personwho tried that”. We asked if there was another table. No response. I said “are these blinds not for the comfort of yourcustomers?” Received a deer in headlights look from both. It did provide our table with the next conversation, comparing theservice to the old Elbow Room. The difference is The Elbow Room’s poor service was all tongue in cheek. Too many pubs aroundto accept this kind of service. Read more

nice patio, view of the gas town steam clock so you can watch it go off. food was good and they were accommodating of... substitutions when i ordered. i don’t eat meat, and i ordered pierogis with the bacon bits on top taken off. once the foodarrived, it had meat on it and i told them i couldn’t eat it. it seemed like the server didn’t believe i had ordered it thatway. they made me a new one and all was fine. they were out of their only dessert option :( pierogis were taken off the billwhich was a nice touch. Only popped in for a couple of beers whilst visiting town. Driftwood brewery ipa very easy to drink ???????? Taken off one star... as the waitress that served us seemed to have a bit of a grump on. Read more

Good spot for a pint and meal. Great local beer selection and menu had all the variety you needed. We got the chicken fingers... and spinach salad - both were good! Read more

Absolutely delicious food and great service. I don’t think I’ve ever tipped that much but the server just did an outstanding... work. Had happy hour mussels and Caesar salad - super tasty, though had 2-3 shells without mussel in it and since it a smallerhappy hour portion it was a bit sad. Anyways, will definitely come back and try more of your dishes Read more
