Great coffee and pastry.

Consistently "closed" 1-2 hours before they are supposed to close based on the hours posted on their front door. Have walked in... multiple times an hour before close, door isn't locked, customers still inside and barista refuses to serve because they areclosing...even though they aren't closed. When I asked "How can I reliably know what your hours are so I can be served?" thereply was "there isn't a way". When I asked "what time do I need to come by when you close at 8pm to make sure I can get adrink?" the reply was "6pm". Ridiculous way to run a business. Read more

Unfortunately as a long time employee at Blenz and being an avid supporter of this Canadian company, it brings me great sadness... that I have to write such a poor review. The manager refuses to serve people without masks, and even lets crazy people in theestablishment call the police on innocent patrons that were simply having a civil discussion with the employees about their maskpolicies. If you read the actual mask exemption section of the mandate, it specifically states no proof of exemption is needed. Get that through your thick skulls people. Read more

We came here first thing in the morning to grab a coffee after an appointment. Floors and tables were dirty. This used to be a... nice, welcoming little neighborhood place to go and grab a quick coffee. It seems to have lost its vibe. No atmosphere at all.The baristas did not engage or even make an effort. I've been coming here once or twice a week for a few weeks after my doctors appointments and I've never really had a good... experience here. Either my drink order gets messed up, or they don't understand my order (I usually order a caffe latte), ortheir card machine doesn't work, there always seems to be something going on here that makes for an unpleasant experience and Iwould leave there frustrated. For the price you pay and the not very friendly people who work there. I'd rather go somewhereelse. Read more

Five stars for the friendly and patient staff. I sometimes go there to study as it is only two blocks away from my place and is... usually extremely quiet for a coffee shop. But they need to renew some of the seats and do a nice all-over industrial cleaning! Read more

The location was big and the tables were spread apart enough to allow private conversations. The layout was open so I would say... not a bad place for a 1st date to chat but not great for privacy or romance. I got a matcha latte with almond milk and a shot ofvanilla. The matcha was decent quality and mixed the traditional way with a bamboo whisk. It was a darker green so not topnotch matcha but it tasted pretty fresh. Read more

Sorry guys. This particular location does some things really badly. 1. Steaming milk. If you like a foamy latte or cappuccino... don't expect one here because they don't know how to steam milk here. The simply heat milk with steam which creates no foam atall. A first for me because generally you learn to steam milk to create a variety of coffee drinks when you work at a coffeeshop and this skill is pretty important. I dare you to get a cappuccino. 2. Don't get the protein shakes. It sounds great butit's 80% water and ice with a 1/4 cup of berries and a tbsp of protein powder so it takes just like that. Dirty cold berry waterwhich is gross as far as smoothies go. Read more
