The taste of the butter chicken and paneer dish we got were both good. The reason for the low rating is mostly due to portion... sizes. Everything came in extremely small portions and yet was costly. The veggie pakora $12 came portioned as seen in thepicture I’ve attached (so small for 12$ I’ve got double the amount for less $ elsewhere!) - unfortunately if was also overcooked and some pieces completely burnt. Same with the tandoori prawns $25 for amount in the photo attached. The other disheswere also small for their cost but these 2 I thought were ridiculous. I would love to give this place a second chance as mostof the food tasted good but unfortunately it is just not worth it with the small portions being $$$. Not sure if dining in andtake out make a difference (we got take out). Read more

I loved their naan, tandoori chicken and lamb masala a lot. Atmosphere is great. Everything from the tandoor is great! I didnt... like the house special goat curry or goa fish curry..just personal preference. Edit: Also the server told us they have acurrent promotion where if you give 5 star google review you get 5 % off. I clearly didn't get the discount because of my 4 starreview. Just be careful of 5 star reviews cause they might be just for the discount and not honest opinion. Read more

Awesome food and service! Very traditional Indian food, the chicken Vandoloo is highly recommend if you like spicy food! And the... fresh baked garlic naan is fabulous!! The decor and interior makes it a great spot for exotic dining experience, will definitelycome back again! Read more

I was in the neighbourhood, and this tucked away location (off the main Granville Street) caught my eye by chance. Sunday... afternoon was relatively sunny for the patio but I chose to sit inside. Service was quick and pleasant. Waiter walked methrough their several lunch options posted in front on the sandwich board. I chose the buttesr chicken bowl (approx $15.50 alltaxes in). Sauce was very tasty and not too tangy. Good size chicken breast pieces, and sizable rice portion. I ate every morselright down to the last rice grain! Only knock against them was no complimentary naan to accompany the lunch special. That wouldhave warranted 5 star. Read more

This is by far the best vegan Indian food I've tried in Vancouver! We ordered: Tofu tika, tofu tika masala, garlic naan without... butter and rice. The food was creamy, amazingly hot and we ordered mild spicy so it was really easy to eat for me. We went withtwo other non-vegan friends and they love their food too! Service was impeccable, staff was super nice and the restaurant isreally pretty. They were also able to accommodate my fish allergy and recommended options that wouldn't have any crosscontamination. Friendly service, loved the atmosphere. A place I'd bring my family and friends to. The textures of all curry sauces were... absolutely flavorful, but if I was to choose, I loved the butter chicken (went for seconds!), & the naan complimented all saucesso well- perfect for dipping. I was here for their Dine Out Vancouver menu. The naan tasted very excellent. It was freshly made and hot. The tandoori chicken... was a little dry but passable. The lamb in the lamb curry was very dry but the sauce alone was very flavorful. Butter chickenwas a bit too buttery for my liking and the other items tasted a bit too salty. It was not what I expected and maybe it was justan off day. Everyone deserves a second chance. I'll come back in the future to try again. Read more

Went here for Dine Out Vancouver and it was absolutely delicious! It was fun to try a variety of dishes and to have a bit more... of the favourite dishes. The pakora was crispy and flavourful and the different dishes were each delicious as well. A greatplace to go for good Indian food and if you want to try a variety for a great price. Read more
