Atmosphere was lovely, service was absolutely fantastic (shout-out to our server for being patient, informative & accommodating... regarding my sister’s allergy) and drinks were also delicious, probably the best gin and tonic I’ve had. This was enough tocarry the review but sadly the food was so disappointing, the cumin crusted salmon was the better of the two but was all overthe place with hot and cold additions, though the paella risotto was the blandest meal I ever had. Presentation was great but Ihad to add sriracha and salt to even touch risotto portion (& I never add salt to food when I’m out :/ ) Overall I’d comeback for the drinks, appies, & atmosphere but probably not entrees Read more
Really nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great beer and food. The Salmon and quinoa bowl I had was absolutely delicious, fresh,... tasty and left me wanting more. Thoroughly recommended, I will be back! Read more
A good bar in the city offering local beers on tap but also very tasty and reasonably priced food. The only downside to me are... the TVs giving it a sports bar vibe but that's a personal preference. Staff are also very nice and friendly. Read more
Interesting food selections that I did not expect with the decor and name. An Asian food bent for sure. But everything was... delicious and the craft beer selection quite good. The curved booths are quite comfortable and offer a good view of the manytelevision screens playing mostly sports. We had beer but the smartly dressed bartender seemed to be adept at shaking cocktails.Overall a good experience and I will be back but not sure this place has a definable identity. Read more
OK this place is added to my list of favourites. The appies are divine, get the lemongrass cumin beef! Select cocktails on... thursdays are $8, super reasonable. Great atmosphere! Def recommend Read more
I have been to this restaurant for first time for happy hour. The food is very delicious and unique taste for a good... price. Service very friendly and quick. The ambiance is very nice. I really enjoy eating and being in this place. Reallyrecommend ! For sure I will be back! ???? Read more
Really nice building and great location. Had a bit of a sports bar feeling which isn’t what we expected from the branding and... building. The food was pretty standard pub food, everything was pretty greasy. I was expecting some high quality Asian fusionfood but that is not what they had. The rosemary Parmesan fries was just normal fries with a twig of rosemary thrown ontop. The drinks were okay but nothing to write home about. Overall a bit disappointing. Elevated and sophisticated largely Asian-inspired pub fare with an emphasis on seafood is served in a large open space inside... the Marine Building. If you've ever wanted to share happy hour drinks inside the Baxter Building from the Fantastic Four movies,this is your chance! The beer list is filled with BC craft and they've got an impressive whisky selection to go along with it.Cocktails are well made, and the service is friendly and attentive.
